Lol. Why didn't Microsoft buy Bioware? They would have had exclusivity to Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age, Jade Empire, future KOTORs, and Mass Effect. I know the 1 million initial sales and slow movement are not that appetizing after Halo numbers. Sure a used Mass Effect 2 costs less than Mass Effect 1 at Gamestop, but if they had any brains they could have kept the original exclusive trilogy plans for Windows and 360.

I used to play Goldeneye at my local church. Anyway, the real reason is that the game is easy to pick up and play. Even a special needs kid can come away with a 2.0 k/d ratio.
@Reyes Reyes III: May I point you to the Halo fanbase. Halo Combat Evolved players have hated on every game since Halo 2. Halo 2 players have hated on every game since Halo 3. Halo 3 players have hated on every game since Halo Reach. See a pattern?

Thanks for telling me there are still some developers in Colorado. I used to live down the street from Ensemble in Texas. Was actually looking forward to an internship through the Art Institute. Felt kinda empty inside when I moved to Colorado.
@archronos: I played the original Runescape. It was unpolished, and they had to patch it quick because you could kill noobs right off the bat. I've tried it a couple times just to see how they enhanced it. Back when it was a free 2D Java mmo it was actually kinda stellar at the time. Since then it is nothing but an ugly, similar game that has been overwhelmed by better 3D Korean and Japanese mmos.

Some said this day would never come... but in all seriousness. Did you know that they originally wanted seven characters? Instead they used the living world of Reach as the seventh character. As the game progresses you can see the planet dying as the environment shifts from lush green to barren wasteland.
How old is that girl? This is a 17+ Mature rated game. Do these people want guys to be attracted to minors? I expect this from Japan, but not wherever this studio is located. Even if this was the 50s?
