Wow, for once there's nothing on this week for me.
"Don't believe in yourself! Believe in the me that believes in you!"
I thought the Trial of a Time Lord arc was the high point of Colin Baker's tenure as the Doctor...which I know isn't saying a whole lot. I mean, it wasn't very good by any means, but I think a few other shows on this list did much worse.
Earth: Final Conflict - they killed off the show's main character at the end of the first season, totally out of the blue...and then the show continued on for another four seasons.
And this is why I hang on to my 1995 pre-SE VHS tapes. Now if only I could get them digitized...
Agree with pretty much all of these, especially shaky cam/quick cuts. I wonder if someone can come with an example of something that covers all of these trends!
If this doesn't have the pre-special edition versions of the films, then screw it, not worth it.
This article is so meta.
I've been watching since the beginning and I initially enjoyed the show, but I got about a third of the way through this episode and thought "you know what, I don't think I really care anymore." I really don't. You know it's time to stop watching something when it becomes a chore to do so. This show is not bad, it's just incredibly meh.
I loved this episode, Futurama hasn't been this funny in forever. It really felt like one of the old episodes (unlike the previous three).
Neutopia ended with Scruffy stuck being female, but in Benderama he's male again? What's up with that?
What about Mike Donovan from the original V?
I swear, those things traumatized me as a kid. Thanks a lot, Sesame Street.
Wow, most of this is urban fantasy/light sci-fi stuff. Not a whole lot here that sounds interesting. I'll probably check out Terra Nova to see if it's any good and maybe Person of Interest, but aside from that...meh.

I miss space sci-fi already.
"Watch Antonio Banderas ogle the Higgs Boson" More like Higgs Bosom, amirite? *badum ch*

...No?
I thought it was fairly simple. Crowley wants to harvest the power of souls, so he starts hunting down monsters (especially the alphas) in order to exterminate them all. Why? Well, what do monsters do? They turn humans into even more monsters. And where do monster souls go? To purgatory, with Eve. The less monsters there are, the more humans there are, and therefore the more human souls there are for Crowley to harvest. Eve is pissed about Crowley offing her children, so she retaliates by trying to do the exact thing Crowley doesn't want to happen: turning all humans into monsters. This way all the souls go to Eve instead of to Crowley.
God yes, this used to scare me as a little kid every time it came on at the beginning of the Star Wars VHS tapes.
