Waiitt...They did seriously blacklist someone for stating the obvious and what basically EVERYONE knew was going to happen? It's like saying, hey guys did you know there will be a MAdden 13?!?!?
2k's rating has always been head scratching. They notoriously underrate certain players and generally is more giving to guys who are considered "superstars". Usually the number ratings doesn't translate to how they can be used tho. A 70 rated player in 2k12 can easily out ball a 80 player.
The thing what Lin's religion is that he thanks God and gets it over with. It's not much different form a singer or an actor winning an award and thanking God. With Tebow it's like he thanks God then proceeds to lecture you on the bible as if you were in sunday school.
Ahh i see. I get what you mean but i don't think most gawker readers would understand NBA stats or really care about those guys unless they had a nice back story.
What kind of NBA fan hasn't heard of James Harden? Also a lot about Lin is the story itself. I don't think anyone is crazy enough to call him an all star. But for a young player he's been somewhat of a phenom. Plus Lin is 5th on the knick in WS already despite pretty much riding not playing until the last 6 games (2nd in WS per 48). A .190 WS/48 (so far) isn't bad for a guy who basically rode the bench til now.
I wish they went back to the pros and Cons list they had back a few years ago. That was a good review since it made you actually read about the strengths and negatives of the game. The Yes and No is way too absolute, and it's worse than giving the game a 1-10 score since a lot of people will just look at the Yes/No and the short blurbs rather than read the entire thing.
Comparing this to the PS3 Uncharted seems to be one of the problems with how you view the game. No matter how good the game is, it will falter when compared to it's console based brethren. Rather than trying to look at it through the PS3 versions standards, i think it's better to view this game for it's own merits as a handheld game and side story rather than a full scaled uncharted.
Actually that happened to my 2k11 on my ps3 a while back where it would just freeze once in a hwile. After i got my new ps3 (LOD'd), i have yet to encounter that problem
I don't know since i don't work for them. Could be some internal issues in the company or they are working on something else. Honestly it could be a whole lot of factors. I just think (my own non-factual gut feeling) they have nothing to lose to bring it over so it much be some issue withing the company itself or with a external party. If that gets resolved then who knows.
You get Lt. Armda (or w/e his name is) with this right? If so for 3 bucks, i don't think it's that bad to get a 2 new characters considering how much it cost for me to get Nightwing in Arkham City.
People forget how campy FFVII was. Cloud cross dressing, Date with the girls/Barrett, etc. Cloud wasn't serious as he was in advent children but rather very lighthearted through most of the game. in FFVIII squall was serious as hell but the cast around him was not for the most part. Zell and his infinite pursuit of hotdogs is one thing that came to mind. FFXIII on the other hand was way serious in tone. It had less campy moments and funny quirks than the other FFs I've played.
