The huge problem here is simply this: Sega brought one of the single best exclusive titles to the PS3, and for that Sony called it a PSP title at E3, and no one subsequently bought it. If Valkyria Chronicles can't make it in the US...
Let's not forget Street Fighter IV, which has resurrected the fighting game like nothing else. Also digging the Fallout 3 DLC, Resident Evil 5 was fun to play through. Killzone 2 a huge, huge dissapointment.
InFamous. Way way underrated. It's an open world game combined with a Metroid or Castlevania. They took all the boring bits out of a game. It gets repetitious, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Please please... Hoping for Ravi Drum Hero game.... Fingers crosssed. You waggle the remote to play the drums, and it's based on the life story and music of Ravi Drums.
@elmorepow: as someone who prefers their 360 to their PS3 and spends almost all their time playing just that, I honestly don't believe the 360 can handle MGS4. There's stuff going on in there visually which sadly shows the power of the PS3, which no studio will ever spend the money to pull out again.
Here's how this works. Someone will buy this thing, and do so. And they'll explain to some curious people how yes he can stream media from his PS3 to his phone. They'll go "oh neato" and then go home and mess with iTunes on their PC and play their Wii.
@VidurRuga: the insane thing the industry just won't see is that they need to cut costs on titles. right now the hardcore are willing to part with 60 bucks a title, yes, for the fashionable window a AAA title comes out. So now we have a system where a title goes on sale for a few months, new copies are at a premium, that's all the money the developer sees unless its a huge hit and becomes a greatest hit, otherwise its gamestop making all the money. It's insane. You won't growth in videogames? Make your titles $30, you'll sell way the fuck more.
