Given that he and Jaime are my two favorite characters, I say love. But there are reasons to dislike both. Tyrion is at his best in book two, while Jaime really starts to shine in book three.
Starting to post some of my own scifi online. First piece is a post-apocalyptic short called The Last Glass

It's a quick read.

Spiderman: Way more excited to for Emma Stone in Spiderman that I ever was for the girl who played Mary Jane (feeling too lazy to look up her name).

Batman: Oops. Somehow I don't think Mr. Nolan is going to be happy about this revelation. Loose lips....

GoT: Finally getting around to reading Dance, and however much I love Dinklage and the rest of the cast, I'm pleased that my original visions of the characters have come back. I'm also barely enthused that Tyrion will be fighting. I know he broke some jaws in the books, but to be honest, it was an image that never worked that well for me. Dwarves in LotRs can fight. Tyrion can't fight... except for those weird moments when GRRM decides that he can.

Meh, skip Snow Crash and read the Cryptonomicon. They're both good, but I think Snow Crash is overrated. The Cryptonomicicon, on the other hand, is sooo good.
Now that you mention it, I haven't read much Asimov either. I keep meaning to read Foundation. Maybe I'll put it next on my list.

I've read soooooo much Heinlein though, though I put down a few of his later books without finishing... Time Enough for Love and that strange book about the cross-gender brain transplant, which I found to be the pinnacle of sexist Heinlein.

Valis. I started it, got about half-way through, realized that I disliked it greatly, and quit, but I still insinuate that I completed it whenever it comes up in conversation. I've read (and loved) lots and lots of PKD, but I really hated Valis. Maybe someday I'll finish it... maybe.
If I had to guess what's going to happen to Idris Elba's character....
Always loved this musical. It's not my favorite Sondheim, but it's top-tier.
Running Man is a great movie to get drunk to. It's already epic, but it just keeps getting better and better.

"Hey cutey-pie. One of us is in deep trouble."

Don't be a dork. It's a sketchbook, meaning that the artist is experimenting. Anyway, his female figures are still somewhat idealized, but they are definitely more realistic than ol' Campbell's.
I never heard about it until someone mentioned it on an episode of This American Life. I guess it's got a fanbase, but I don't think the show has ever come up in any conversation I've ever had, nerdy or otherwise.
I always loved the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles as a kid. Too bad it didn't last longer.
Everyone I've talked to who saw Hugo loved it. I think you're the odd-one-out. You should have given it more than 30 minutes.
I'm right there with him. Uncharted 2 and 3 are two of the best games I've ever played for any system.
Man... I loved Hook as a kid. I never knew that it was ever considered a Spielberg misstep.
Agreed. I'm giving this idea it my stamp of approval. We'll have to see how well the idea is executed (if even true).
I enjoyed your defense of Twilight. It gave me a good chuckle.

Edit: More to the point, I think you're wrong to try defending Twilight by saying that the world should honor it solely because Meyers pulled it off. Good for her. Lots of authors have gotten rich famous in the short-term for writing bad fiction. We'll see how well Twilight stands the test of time, but I have a feeling that Twilight is a very temporary phenomenon.

Saving Private Ryan is an awesome first fifteen minutes followed by a plot so thin it should have stayed on paper. Very disappointing film.
Interesting assessment, and it rings true to me. But I saw Last Crusade as a kid (the first Indy film I saw in theaters), and I still love it to death, even if Raiders is the only film in the series that really grabs me as an adult.
The trailer won me over. Even though I was a fervent follower of LOTR back when they were developing it, I just couldn't get much enthusiasm for the Hobbit, even though I like the book. But the trailer was both appropriate for the material and managed to bring me back to my LOTR fanboy days. Definitely looking forward to it.
