@Ruthless if you let me: It is listed as a negative on the list, imo.
Vader isn't allowed to be awesome with leather AND a pink lightsaber? Pfft! Beat that, Iron Boy!
Carnivale, definitely. Max Headroom is a close second but Carnivale's story was supposed to have a break between Book 1 and 2. It'll be easy to simply pick up the story from where it left off if HBO wanted to.
Carnivale, the show that made me believe in TV again. Until it was canceled.
Loving Metropolis Skyline! Pink's outfit looks good but not nearly as awesome as Leelo's. Points for trying. Beyonce's is great, love the geometric thing going on.
If you enjoy Kraftwerk, there's a nice documentary about their influence on British music by the BBC called Synth Britannia. There's an interview with Kraftwerk's Wolfgang Flür.

It's funny, wasn't part of io9's review of Push specifically about how it would make a better TV show than a movie?
If it destroys chances of more Heroes, I'm all for it.
No idea how it is done for comic book art but usually when commissioned, an artist sells the rights to one person or company. If the cover was assigned by DC comics, they hold the right to use it. If it was commissioned by Millar, he can use it for any other project and change it as defined by the agreement with the artist (who seems to also be doing the interior art).
Am I over-thinking this? (Well, yuuuh-s.) Bottom line, it's gonna change, it says "not final cover".
This movie was very Terminator-inspired - the "save her from her destiny" and "I'm going to teach you how to kill mechas and defend yourself" and Machines=BAD, People=GOOD, etc... with extra sappiness. Cameron is not over Terminator despite what he's been saying in interviews.
Then I imagined Pandora being part of the Alien galaxy and the Na'vi getting nuked from orbit after a couple of years.
It's sad but hey, it's the Unobtanium business...
eta: to clarify, I really liked the movie, it was gorgeous and lived up to most of my expectations.
@BlueBeard: Fringe and Warehouse 13 I hate because everybody was telling me how amazing and enjoyable they were and how they totally kick ass in every way. Then I watched them and kept wanting to shoot myself. Maybe I need new friends? lol
V was way over-hyped in sci-fi circles. All the first reviews were glowing unicorns pooping marshmallow rainbows... To me The 4400 was a much better written show that dealt with the same set of themes and characters... I'll give V a chance if it improves by the end of the season.
