So I just read that you're in a relationship with the author of the Sucker Punch review. That to me, raises some red flags for being extremely, extremely biased and emotionally affected by any negative comments made in the comment section, even though the FAQ of the website clearly says negative comments are allowed, and that "we can dish it out, and take it too".

I can take this claim higher up if you really want. I think I have a pretty good argument on my side.

This user seems to be pretty trigger happy on the ban hammer. I left a comment asking who threw a bag of sand in your vagina after reading the insanely overly negative review on Sucker Punch, and apparently that's ban worthy with no prior account suspensions or warnings, ever.

In case they delete that last comment, I just thought I'd repeat myself here. Apparently, a certain moderator takes criticism of i09's journalistic integrity very seriously. Apparently, funny or intelligent comments don't matter here if they criticize the baldly obvious business strategy. I thought that comparison to Fox News was hilarious, mostly because I assumed the management here had the sense of humor and intelligence to laugh at themselves. But now, it's becoming more accurate.

Hi Charlie, in case you missed it Matt Smith was the guest on the nerdist podcast last week. I just noticed it myself.

This is my last ditched effort to redeem my chances of being unbanned from io9. Since you apparently deleted my comment, which I think was just saying I didn't think Amanda Seyfried looked very good in the new Niccol movie.

What I find strange is that you approved me as a commenter on io9, then banned me 1 minute later. Which, I do not understand, the comment wasn't inappropriate, demeaning, attacking, though perhaps boring, I don't see any reason for the ban.

I'm hoping that perhaps you made mistake and clicked the wrong button, or perhaps you just hate people who need help, I don't know.

I just know I would like to be reinstated or at least allowed to try and re earn my commenting ability back.

For the love of all that is io9, please don't let Jesus Diaz write any more articles for the site - or if he must, please revoke commenting privileges. The man has all the social skills of a wolverine with hemorrhoids, and is one of the prime reasons I will not go to the Gizmodo site again. Cursing at commenters may be acceptable there, but thankfully, I don't see that here, and I would be saddened to see this place slip into the same dismal place Giz is.
