@☭CHARIZARD☭: If the vast minority doesn't fillate itself and call most of his mumbling "heeeeeeeeeey" music brilliant and he the greatest artist of all time then good. He's not a "poet" nor is his music all that great.
@WestwoodDenizen: What makes you think that people who don't look in their mirrors when backing up will pay attention to the little monitor/screen anyway? Everytime I back up my vehicle I do it gradually, checking my 4 corners and mirrors at all times.
I think most of the people this measure is designed for won't be paying attention to it regardless. They'll be too busy calling/talking/texting to utilize it.
I'm also wondering where the pet owner/child's parent is that's letting them hide behind my vehicle while it's backing up. So long as you're paying attention you should see the child/pet running towards the area of the rear of your vehicle. Not to mention you should only be backing up at around 2 mph anyway.
@dragon83: Livery editor, leaderboards, 500 complete cars with interiors, hotlap mode,.........brake upgrades.....lol. And the damage model is better. The Forza damage model doesn't look like a plastic model shoved into an Easybake oven.
The AI actually reacts to your position on the track. I tried playing GT5 and passing someone on the inside of a corner. One rear quarter-panel hit later and I was off-track. The AI doesn't react at all.
This doesn't take into account that, A. All cars and tracks are playable from the start. B. Full damage is accessible from the start
There aren't as many filler cars either. It seems that GT5 went for quantity and not quality. They have 5 versions of the FWD Hyundai Tiburon/Tuscani but not one version of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
I'll admit that GT5 did 200 or so cars really well and that Forza has its faults, but PD seemed to lose focus on the rest of the game and focus soley on those 200 cars.
@kingkellogg: What racing do you watch when there's NEVER any type of crash, be it single or multiple cars? Peoples gripe is that GT is supposed to be THE yardstick for sim games. When your competitors have a semi-realistic model of damage in place and you don't, you don't seem like the yardstick anymore.
@WestwoodDenizen: In the off chance, this may open the floodgates for the government to mandate other useless safety features. Seatbelts and airbags I understand, backup cameras and in car monitoring not so much.
