um, do you mean July 20th? Who proofreads around here? In this morning's spoilers, io9 had True Blood's season finale ending two weeks after the end of season two. I had to read that a few times before I was sure it was a typo.
So the guys have been asleep so long that the "missing" crew or their descendants have evolved/devolved into an unrecognizable violent and deadly new life form. That is what I am getting from this.

@bhowie: I agree with you, the rest are suckers.
Where is it available for 49.95? I can only find it for 69.95...
@Logan5: That is how I feel to a T (or tee?) but was unable to express completely and clearly without feeling angry. I am happy the movie will be exciting and fun, I just feel like it is being done at the expense everything that has gone before. no matter how it is justified, it feels like an easy way out. Good writers would have written within the constraints, or just done a cold reboot, like the Nolan Batman.

But really, it is all just a movie, it's not like global warming, equal/civil rights or war. So not that big a deal no matter what.

I will not be seeing this movie right away, and if I find the ending to reveal John becomes metal, hybrid or otherwise, I will never go see the film. I will not support this revision.

I tire of blindly supporting genre films especially when it is poorly made (Wolverine can suck it), or betrays the fans, as it sounds like T4 might.

@spannu: please point me in the right direction
Let's have a SyFy boycott starting July 7th, lasting until they change the name back. :P
@matthewtoney: What? That's just crazy talk.
@bonniegrrl: I have never seen Roadhouse, in fact I have avoided it religiously.
If Starlog started in 1967, wouldn't that be 42 years of publishing, not 33? Did they take a break somwhere along the line?
@kidmetr: Cameron had too much metal and damage, one is supposed to be organic to go through. I assume Weaver and the liquid metal T1000 in T2 were some sort of organic or living metal... Never really explained in T2 either. But again Cameron was too damaged.
@slacktivist: I would have to say Weaver built it, hell she ran a huge tech corp. She had the knowledge to build it and she did, having a need to go back to the future at some point, or as an escape, or whatever. That did not surprise me. The first ep had a time machine stored in a bank vault.
@palinode: Hey, I claim credit for anus storage as of previous TSCC thread.
@Kevin Jones: I did not miss John Conner existing, it just seems that previous timelines indicated John being an older or of same age to best friend and mentor to Kyle. Now that is not the case. Now he is just some kid with no real knowledge of the present/future, and certainly no pull or influence in this version of the timeline.
Ewwww, I wonder if Savannah is alive in the future, and all fucked in the head from all the crazy shit. Did John Henry go look for her to see if she is safe? I also wonder what John Henry had to gain from going into the future. Couldn't he have done more in the past to stop the nascent Skynet?
I think the show will be cancelled, and the producers gave us this as an ending knowing that. The show can certainly not continue on in the future, without Sarah, or with a reasonable set and FX on a TV budget. On the other hand the show could continue on in the present as The Sarah Conner Chronicles quite well I suppose.

Someone has to go fiddle with that Terminator timeline we saw a couple of weeks back. Here is what we have... Older John C. Sent his best bud Kyle back to save his Mother and become his Father, but now young John went forward for no apparent reason other than follow Cameron's body (that holds AI with a soul), John Henry along with Liquid Metal - Catherine Weaver to a future in which his older self does not exist because of his leap forward. So he cannot send his Father back to father John. It seems unreasonable that John would become leader to people twice his age. It is cool and maddening, and I actually love it. I would definitely guess that Cameron is Allison (the dog was okay with her), witch means Cameron never existed either, and Derek will also never go back.

Ahhhhhh!

This is worse than "Star Trek" the new timeline/bubble/branch.

@the memorexe: Um, no, unless it was up his anus. Remember time travel = nudity, no pockets in which to carry picture.
Where is everyone? No one has anything to say?
