Chord isn't "out" -- he just wasn't put on contract. He'll still be recurring, just as he was last season.
Double reply, sorry. Nothing to see here.
Adrianne is dressed as the MTV animated character Aeon Flux, not a random corset and fishnets.
I actually really like Nikita...and she rarely wears sexy bathingsuits. ;)
So glad annoying female FBI agent disappeared.
@rolandbarks: There are plenty of "poor" kids going to great schools in NYC, on scholarships, loans, and jobs. I was one of them. Please don't assume that everyone here is rich, that makes you just as bad as those who assume the opposite about SC.
Another improv example -- X-Files inventing Scully's abduction in order to accommodate Gillian Anderson's pregnancy, leading to some of the best work that show ever yielded.
FYI, Demi posted a link to the original photo on Twitter...it wasn't Photoshopped. In her own words, she just has no hips. ;) [twitpic.com]
Overall the aspect that bothered me the most was that in the original series, the heroes -- and the persecuted people -- were scientists and journalists. But sadly we have since been conditioned to believe that those people cannot be heroes anymore. So now instead of a scientist and an investigative journalist as Our Heroes, we have a priest and a counterterrorism agent. It's very telling, and kind of sad, to me at least. Guess they were afraid any archaeologist characters might bring up evolution and alienate members of the audience? #v
@h3llc4t has a slow work day: Forever 21 asks to see ID with every credit card purchase. Of course, all of their policies are so draconian that it fits right in.
@cynicgrl: Replying to my own post -- I mean the difference in quality is not that great. If you can get GAP outlet stuff on sale -- well, I'd rather have just slightly lower quality jeans for $20, than regular GAP jeans for $60.
Yeah, but even though the quality at the GAP outlet may be slightly lower, the difference in cost makes up for it -- because the difference is NOT that great, as someone who has shopped both outlet and retail.

Plus at Coach you can often get retail store items that are simply no longer in season, for legitimately lower prices. Like everything else, it's simply about being an informed consumer, rather than just taking at face value what the consumer tells you.

Just had an issue with my Chase Mastercard -- I remembered at 12:10 AM, i.e. late at night on my due date (though technically the day after my due date) that I hadn't paid my bill yet. Headed right over there to find they had ALREADY charged me a $39.00 late fee, dated the very day of my due date! Even though I have never missed a payment before. I complained but they refused to reverse the charge. Oh well, have to make extra sure that I don't do that again!
That happened to me with Benetint too. Too bad, because I generally really like their stuff. Their response here sucks.
@neekap: Yes, this. I did the same thing. Only problem is you're not allowed to have credit cards during that time, and I don't know how much of a problem that would be for the OP's dad. But if he CAN do that, IMO it's the way to go -- it's a way for him to pay off his debts without declaring bankruptcy, if he really wants to avoid it. I used ACCC and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Paid down $15,000 of debt over 5 years, and now have a great credit score.
I believe they have the same issues with too-short people, too.
I did not know of this Frosty's existence and now must go sample it for myself! The saddest part of this story for me was finding out this guy is married. Oh well.
Interestingly (as someone who eats a LOT of cereal), the supposedly "sugary" cereals tend to have LESS sugar than the seemingly healthy ones. Raisin Bran, for instance, has much more sugar than Cocoa Pebbles. Look at the sugar gram info for Raisin Bran Crunch, you will never eat it again. Mainline some Lucky Charms instead. Always check the nutritional information, don't make assumptions.
I work in publishing so I can tell you the answer is no.
@Jessica Schwartz: That was my reaction too. Fellow New Yorker? ;)
