Uhm. You kinda lose here. Scrabble and the analogs don't require you to know the definition, they require you know the spelling of a legal word. And I knew about most of these BECAUSE of scrabble. Knowing a word like Jo can get you tons of points and get you out of a jam.

Plus the pros use these words too, so why can't we?

DISCLAIMER: I AM A CYNIC

This kid is a genius. Yes.

It really bothers me when backstories mention things like a 5 year old wanting a crane and complaining that they wanted a real one when they get a toy. How many kids do the same damn thing!?!?! A ton. It doesn't make what he's done any more special (or less special for that matter).

I'm pretty sure it's just 85% of the total time of the day. You should be spending about 20 hours each day asleep.

But in actual seriousness, it's possible that's supposed to be 85% of the daily recommended amount of time actual asleep. So if at 30 I'm supposed to get 7 hours of sleep per day, those who only get on average <85% of that may be at a higher risk for alzheimers.

EDIT: Ah it would help if I actually read the publication. Ignore that.

I didn't think it was that great, but to say it's worse than X3??? No way, that movie was complete crap and destroyed characters. The only thing that I thought was good was Kelsey Grammer's portrayal of Beast - I thought he'd suck majorly and I thought he did a pretty good job.
Clearly, but I'm not even taking into consideration the pollution effects (which matter, don't get me wrong). Even IF oil was zero pollution it still would be an issue as an energy source with how much we use it.
Bandits are hostile!! Repeat! Bandits are hostile!
I tend to agree with all of this. But I fell this is an issue with the gaming industry as a whole vs specifically the Zelda series (might be more specifically attuned to the Nintendo Industry but they're really the only ones left from 25 years ago). Part of it is just progress though. Look at the old NES era. Sound and graphics were pretty limited, the only story you really could tell is through some text. And the turnaround times had to be pretty fast because the profits you'd get weren't that high. So when development time lessens you lose things like a complete coherent story or complete directions from a to z laid out for you. In some ways the extra "handholding" is good because then we get gems like Mass Effect, which is good BECAUSE of the story being laid out for you (and uncovered by you. And I really like the gameplay too, I'm just focusing on the story aspect). But in other ways, handholding...not so much. Games nowadays aren't as difficult as they used to be, but I think a lot of that is to allow for a wider audience to enjoy it. I have an NES emulator on my computer and sometimes am shocked at how difficult these games are and how much I struggle. When as a 7 year old I could get through them basically no problem.
H2 is only an energy storage unit, you still need to make the damn stuff. Which requires energy. And that's not even getting past the storage problem it causes because it'll become oxidized by basically everything (and will rust out the metals in your car or in other cars on the road).
I've been advocating this ever since electric cars started becoming popular as "eco-friendly". All gasoline is is an energy storage unit. So is electric. So is hydrogen. So is ATP. The point is being able to both a) utilize the source (ie solar or geothermic - but really solar) and b) store it so it can be used. Just doing b) doesn't address the main problem we're going to be facing with oil - the source. Oil takes too long to be created naturally and we are running out.

Woah, even the comments are truncated with numbers that long - made it two lines

Uhm. Isn't the 8 also off? Based off your line?

That guy talking is painful to watch. It also looks like it's just him talking in front of a screen (with no audience) and he just keeps look to his right to make it "more" believable.
It looks like they confirm a pretty big plot point here. The lizard is on a antenna tower with some sort of contraption, and then Spider-man knock over the tower. Looks like the lizard is in fact trying to make more lizards.
Ever notice how Spider-man has some interesting similarities to Dexter? How easy it is for him to lie when asked where he was, what he was doing, why he has blood all over his arm, extreme prejudice against criminals.
