I read "willing to appear in the Americanized live-action remake of the iconic Japanese anime film" as "willing to appear in the bastardized live-action remake of the iconic Japanese anime film". I don't think that I was that far off.
I'd buy two of these! One to watch and the other to keep in it's wrapper. Not a big fan of the cover for 6, though. I think he probably should have gone with something like the tattered Potions book or something.
The only 2 logical choices would be The Flash and Wonder Woman. They're both well known enough to bring in people who don't follow comics and have enough history to bring in the comic readers who want to see what little easter eggs are thrown in to the movie. I'm also tempted to say Green Arrow, but in reality he's just a clone of Batman, only with a different color scheme and a penchant for archery.
For all the no-wants, don't cares, and "but why?" books up there, I'm still pretty excited that they're bringing back Nightwing. I always liked that character and was upset when he became the new Batman.
"there should be nothing stopping Alan Moore & Chris Sprouse's creation from battling evil in a video game." Except Alan Moore... Personally, I'd like to see either an Invincible or a Flash game.
I don't know why this is a surprise. I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that there's a clause somewhere in his movie contract that says something about doing voice work for any game based off the movie, just like most big-budget movies put in sequel clauses nowadays.
Every single one of those screens look great to me...except for the arm in the first one. There's just something about the elbow of the arm that looks sort of weird to me.
