Everything shows up on the timeline, the amount (and rate) of resource gathering, building of units, doing damage to units, units taking damage, and chronoportation of units.
As for your other questions, it already works.
An interesting thing that the video doesn't show though: species are chosen in game, so it is possible to feint as an entirely different species to trick the other player into building the wrong sort of units. (Of course, if you attack early enough to have enough CE to go back, switch races, and re-start your build order, your enemy should be able to see through it, of course, if he ignores your feint you can just go into force, so he has to respond properly at a minimum at the least)
You lasted longer than me, I noticed something was up when the webcam and 'real life' footage didn't match (she rocks back and forth in real life, but not on the webcam), and when the boy said his line I just lost it.
Yeah, meta-time because you're one of the titular Achrons, a being that exists outside of time.
(Though that may have changed since I read about it, what we've seen from SP so far seems to imply that, unless of course 'Achron' is a state of being, which it probably is now that I think of it)
It already is launched, the video uploader is uploading videos from a tournament. (The link is a good highlight if you want to see how time travel can be used in MP)
Also, note that even in campaign you can't just go back to the beginning of the level, eventually it begins to cost too much chrono-energy to make changes, even through high-level commanders, this is known as the Un-Playable Past or UPP, you can see it as a large grey strike-out over the bar, a dimmer strike-out means that you just don't have enough chrono-energy to issue orders to that point in time right now.
This is a fun rush to watch: [www.youtube.com] You're watching from the time perspective of the blue player, who skips ahead to contact with the red player then, midway through the fight, goes back, pauses time, and issues absolutely perfect micro orders to his units.
(Note that the blue player started the game as a different race, but switched races when he figured out that he was going to be defeated by a rush from red player, he then builds a perfect counter to red player's rush because he knows what it is.)
The micro you can do in this game is absolutely mind blowing.
[www.youtube.com] (watch the arrow in the top right and usage of chrono-energy once he goes back and pauses it. Also, it's really neat to skip to the 'good part' of a rush)
That is from the time perspective of the blue player, who actually changed races a few minutes into the match to avoid being beaten by a rush, how is that for an amazing comeback?
