Soundwave being a portable music player is a "concrete fact"?

Uh-oh. Better tell that to Transformers: Cybertron (Cybertronian jet form) and Transformers: Animated (SUV).

Seriously, people, the claims you're making here are laughable.

Okay, you mention Dinobot, so you've clearly watched past G1...but have you not seen a single other Transformers series any time over the past 15 years? Seriously? Because every single Transformers series post-Beast Wars/Machines has had a STRONG human focus. Michael Bay's films didn't do anything new there.

Robots In Disguise: Koji, Dr. Onishi, Kelly.
Armada: Carlos, Rad, Alexis.
Energon: Kicker, Misha, Sally (along with Carlos, Rad and Alexis in a more limited capacity)
Cybertron: Coby, Bud, Lori
Animated: Sari (although technically not), Sumdac, Fanzone
Prime: Jack, Miko, Raf, Fowler, June Darby

I've been a Transformers fan since '84. I have a huge collection of the figures and so many other peripheral collectibles, be it busts, DVDs, original artwork and I've even been in the process of getting a sleeve tattoo on my right arm featuring several G1 Decepticons. So I'm clearly a fan.

And I really enjoyed the Michael Bay films. Even Revenge of the Fallen, which admittedly is the weakest of the three. But I can't be alone in the chills I got when the Autobots drove up to Sam and Mikaela for the first time and all transformed. Hell, I still get chills thinking about it now. I honestly think it's just "cool" to hate on anything Michael Bay does. The hate borders upon hipster-esque.

What I always found amusing is that people would bash the Transformers films using the exact same reasoning that they would praise Avatar.

Transformers: "Well, yeah, it looks really great visually, BUT OMG THE WRITING AND PLOT SUCKS SO HARD OMG!!!11"

Avatar: "Well, yeah, the writing and plot are pretty bad, BUT OMG SO PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY!!!11"

I don't know, I think his angst makes sense in relation to HOW Bobby died - a meaningless death from a single bullet. No grand exit. Just a bullet in the skull.
I happen to like both shows. Of course, Fringe is better than Terra Nova, but TN has some good potential.
I'm wondering now, however, if Mira will be pissed at Taylor/Shannon for destroying the link to the future or at the Phoenix Group for allowing it to happen and going back on their deal in the process?
That's exactly what I was thinking. Who's to say there haven't been other fractures throughout history, right?
That was, hands down, the best scene of the series thus far. Michael Bay, eat your heart out.
I have a pair of these, although I killed the first set of "speakers" inside the headband within 6 months. Thankfully, I found a replacement set (sans headband) for about $10 less and just installed them into my original headband. No problems yet, but I seem to be particularly hard on earbuds and the like in bed; I've seriously killed at least half a dozen sets of earbuds that way.
There's a 3rd probability too - it could be a cultural thing. My co-worker often possesses a very unpleasant odor that I've noticed in others that share his culture and eats food that also produces an unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, that's one of those things that can't really be dealt with without coming across as discriminatory, so I grit my teeth and invest in air fresheners to use around my workspace.
Exactly what I was thinking too. If that's the case, bubbye True Blood.
I stopped watching this season a few episodes ago, but my wife kept watching. She had to show me the Tara death shot last night and I cheered.

If they keep her dead, I'm back in. If they bring her back, we're both out.
I can get behind this. Back when I was in a position in which to hire in my department, I would instantly reject a resume that had any misspelled words. I figure that if you can't pay attention to detail on a simple, but important thing like a resume, how can I be sure that you'll pay attention to detail in the job opening?
These recaps are very literally the ONLY reason I still bother with this show. I've even grown tired of shouting "JUST KILL HER ALREADY!" when Tara is on the screen.
Still happily watching Doctor Who here. Definitely patiently awaiting Supernatural's return. Have no interest in Game of Thrones. And with True Blood...I just kind of watch it peripherally while my wife watches it. Simply so I can enjoy these recaps. :P
Amen to that. I've been trying to get my wife to watch The Prisoner because that last episode was...wow. And when you consider WHEN that episode originally aired? Wow again.

And going back to the post here...am I the only one who couldn't stand Bernard and Rose? I was GLAD when they were gone. Both of them supremely got on my nerves. When they came back...ugh.
What's wrong with Neko Case?

Mind you, it was an awful choice for that scene, but I like that song.
Me too. I was really weirded out by that.
Find me a multi-cable with a Zune connection and I'll be all over it.
