And I need one to send to webmasters to explain why they should always CONFIRM email addresses when they let people sign up. Lots of idiots use my gmail addresses when signing up for dating sites, and it's really annoying because there's usually no option to delete the account afterwards.

Neat trick: if you leave the "order confirmation" window open in Gmail then you will see gmail's javascript countdown of how many minutes until the pizza was ordered, which let's you know if you've hit the "40 minutes or its free" guarantee.

The 2 week limit is probably a good idea so people don't get fired from their day job.

Gmail for contacts, Outlook for synch contacts to phone/ipod/etc.

Once you've publicized a feed it can be picked up by all kinds of search engines.

The general use case for this service is stuff like bug tracking software RSS feeds, your Twitter @reply feed... not something that could contain password/bank account/credit card information like your gmail feed.

I've personally done 9 scripts for it.

I definitely don't follow *everything* people are up to. But it's pretty good if you restrict yourself to friends with similar interests. I almost always find something interesting within 1-2 pagefuls.

It absolutely kicks ass for comments and discussion around a shared link. It's better than Twitter for replying to Tweets. It's also much easier to comment on FriendFeed than it is to comment on a blog post...

I think once they get the algorithm right for "what you're interested in" then it'll really be a destination.

I'd love it if they implemented something like friendfeed.com/popular the way delicious does.
