You just had to go there. The reason Angel (and Buffy) isn't on this list is to purposefully FORGET this ever happened.
I'm fairly certain I said nothing regarding my feelings on Star Wars itself. I get that other people see the Falcon as No 1 and I accept their opinion without agreeing.

Thanks for the Den of Geek link you posted elsewhere on this post. It's a nice read.
Kelly Chambers over EDI any day of the week.
The Falcon made it to the list because if you have a Sci Fi list without Star Wars somewhere on it you have a revolt of Star Wars people. That aside, I understand Serenity not being on there. Also tempting fate to call out the Serenity on a SciFi blog site.

But why is no one explaining to me the lack of Destiny?
I'm going to go ahead and ignore the fact that this list is invalidated by including as it's No. 1 a ship that has no "mission" except to cart around Solo's lazy butt save for the last part of the third movie. It should have been just as discounted as Serenity is.

However, my real problem with this list is the omission of the actual No. 1, Destiny. A ship which probably has as much intelligence, and probably personality, as Rommie (not that we'll ever get to see it, thanks SeeFee), crewed by a fantastic group of normal people with normal problems, and it's mission to find the nature of the background noise of the universe probably being the most important in the history of the universe!

Dude, it flies INTO THE SUN to recharge itself.
@Mister_Roboto: If there aren't wonderful things like Fringe to care about, then what's the point of human civilization?
I don't get to see any more SGU because of CSI: Heroes? Lame.
Any real advice on how to "deal" with a nuclear attack should include distances from said attack:

0-100 ft -- Stop terrorist from implementing attack.

100ft - 10 miles -- Bend over and kiss ass goodbye... quickly.

10 miles - 50 miles -- Close eyes to prevent blindness. Apply SPF 500. Prepare for shockwave.

50 miles - 100 miles -- Watch pretty mushroom cloud. Apply sunscreen as required. _Maybe_ escape fallout.
Monkeys can move cursors!? So much for my career.
@MsStabby: Rawr! You throw in () for "o"s and you're g()lden.
@MsStabby: io9 is geeky, gizmodo is geeky; however, snarky is a much better word.

Let me guess... whatever? No, no ... monkey!
I would much rather go back to 1984 and fall in love with Drew all over again.

Drew, Le Sigh.
One would think that the geekiness of the Gawker community would show in the passwords they choose; alas reality disappoints, again.

Of course, Kotaku does bring down the average a bit...
What better way to keep people from thinking critically than to ban the materials that teach them the dangers of not thinking critically.
You know that pain and guilt can't be taken away with the wave of a magic wand. They're the things we carry with us, the things that make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. I don't want my pain taken away! I need my pain!

This article is uncomfortably close to the sperm article.

Or.

[NASA] was blinded by the light, wrapped up Luke a deuce another roamer in the night.
Maybe this is why we (men) are so difficult to train?
Supermassive black hole...I love Muse. #space
@dirtybacon: To your first point; I'm with you. To your second point; I think it's to show off her implements of horror!
