Not to be Peter Picky, but people much smarter than us on Astronomy Picture of the Day say that first photo isn't a Perseid meteor. "But the meteor flashing above Discovery is not likely to be one of the Perseids because its path doesn't point back to that shower's radiant."
USAA is purely internet and phone based. They don't have branches. So depositing checks has to be done by mail (and we all know how great the USPS can be). They've been doing something where you can scan checks and send the image. This is the next logical step. It also saves them money because the deposit envelopes they send us have pre-paid postage. Oh, and since they don't have branches we get to use any ATM machines we can find for free. And they refund any charges by the ATM's owner (up to $25 a month or something). Another nice bonus.
One thing I noticed is that each time I go in to my gmail from the shortcut icon it opens a new page in Safari instead of using the gmail page that's already open. So after checking my email multiple times during the day I have to go and close out all the pages. I don't recall that being an issue before.

Weirdly, this started happening over the past several days before the new version even came out.

There's a certain irony in a science fiction site talking about global warming. At least to those of us who didn't drink the Kool Aid.
Hopefully when she looks down at herself that blouse will look less awful.
My xbox finally died for the first time 3 weeks ago (Feb. 10th). I went to the website instead of calling because I avoid talking to people whenever possible. I got to pick between using my own box or them sending me one.

My only gripe was that they discovered some secret slow UPS service that takes 4 days to get an empty box from Cinncinati to Jersey. And they sent it back 'signature required' which is annoying when you have a job.
