Yeah...how could they have missed this?
@Rahll: I would agree with you if they had set a wishy washy tone from the beginning, but you have to admit that the first 3 seasons were solid and then blah and as far as insignificant I beg to differ.
@Rahll: Fitting in that they were all dead...no wait in a nether world where that super sun dial and cave with their names at the top of the lost mountain didn't mean a damn thing? Where they took such an amazing character like Locke and muddled him up so bad that none of who he was made sense anymore? Where the temple people just come out of nowhere and are guided by a Japanese man who we later decided they couldn't do anything with his story so lets kill em? You mean where we never were introduced to the ceo of the Dharma Initiative Alvar Hanso or the founders the Degroots...you mean the one that spent all that money on websites and tivo pause fodder that in the end meant nothing? We are talking about the same show that never explained the four toed statue. If you think back the only good episodes were the ones they took time on wrapping up. The origin's of the Black Rock Ship (Amazing) why? Because it had a "feasible" beginning, middle and end. I could go on and on about how they LOST the core of what the story was about JACK!!!!!! The flaws go on and on...and I'm sick of hearing them say "we wanted some of the stuff to be mysterious. You mean you couldn't think of anything clever when it really comes down to it. It became about too many people in the end which was a design flaw of the scripts from the beginning, but we gave it a chance. In the end none of it really made sense (and not in a good way). Good sci fi is and always will be grounded in the plausible. That all stopped (for me) as soon as episode one of the final season aired. Flashback, Flash forward, flash sideways oh and lets not forget Flashforward the tv series (which they tried to tie into the LOST timeline). It's laughable really. I think Io9 will agree with me on this one and in fact has written many a blogs on this tragedy of script writing. Lindelof and the rest of those cronies fucked up what could have possibly have been the best science fiction t.v. show ever.
@Oasx: A lot of people on this blog would so beg to differ.
@Rooster Cogwheel: course not jorge is a waaaayyy better actor...lololol. This is a joke btw.
We LOST fans were dedicated and we followed him down a road that led to nowhere. I am really really angry!!! Don't pull this shit again!
Does anyone else think his clandestine behavior is a bit done? Especially after that lack luster LOST final season. He needs to just do it...whatever it is and stop trying to build so much suspense like another director (cough...M.Knight). Not saying J.J's track records is anything like his, but I was soooooo disappointed by the ending of LOST that I don't think I'll ever get over it. He has to know that it sucked....I really just wish he'd own up to it. I think it would be a huge weight off of so many LOST fans who are desperately trying to make it all make sense.
Wtf!! They sent orders for it to make a right years ago... dammit!!!
Whew...I left Brooklyn just in time. Hope those At At's hate the desert.
