I loved the Dalek "Eradicator" and the lipstick? on their faces to represent blood.

Will have to rewatch several times to get all of the cameos. Awesome. #observationdeck

I finally finished the 13th book in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series which I read back to back since I finished A Dance with Dragons.

It was at times a very tough read and book 10 was very boring, but by that time I was at the point I couldn't quit without finishing the series. To think that people had been reading it since 1990 only to have the author pass away must have been horrible. I couldn't imagine the anguish of the fans upon realizing that they had read 11 massive books and put up with all of the 'skirt straightening and shawl adjusting' only to believe that they would never know how the story would end. I must commend Brian Sanderson for finally getting to the #$%ing point as his story has moved along more swiftly with a definite end in sight.

Next, I need to steal my daughter's copies of The Hunger Games trilogy. She doesn't like the way I open her books "all the way" hence the theft requirement.

What I also enjoy is how they leave some episodes open ended, like how we don't know what happened to Rupelstilskin's son. They leave us with Hansel and Gretal in the great expanse of forest.

Also, that the Queen is a truly evil bitch with no redeeming qualities - I like that. #observationdeck

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...!

I am so damned excited. It looks wonderful and Martin Freeman is perfect casting.

Made my night :)

The worst gifts have been my mother re-gifting her 'teacher gifts' from the last 30 years as stocking stuffers. "Where did you find this interesting candle/soap/ornament Mom?" "Oh, I don't remember..."

Sadly, she doesn't put in any more effort now that she has run of out the old teacher gifts. Now we get her Clinque make-up freebies in our stockings. My sister doesn't wear make-up so there is also the "You should fix yourself up honey" message in that gift.

I go out of my way to buy her personal, thoughtful gifts in retaliation :) #observationdeck

He's the Doctor - I don't think that he would need 'little people' he just needed them to create a body for him to operate. He just tweaked it with his sonic screwdriver.

He got the former agent to burn his body right away so they wouldn't figure out it was a robot? That's my take on it anyway.
So nice of them to have a 50th Anniversary just in time for my birthday. I will make turning 50 an easier pill to swallow.

It always made me sad that 1963 marked the year that JFK was killed, but Doctor Who has given me something positive. Getting older isn't so bad when you have the Doctor with you.
But don't you think that her behaviour fits perfectly with the stooges that evil ones usually choose? They follow blindly doing their bidding never once wondering if they too are disposable?
I cannot watch this and risk tarnishing my future multiple rewatchings of Pride and Prejudice.

Sorry Jennifer Ehle.
I just loved the ultimate question - felt like a tip of the hat to Douglas Adams - and had my daughter yelling "And it's hidden in plain sight!"

I will be watching again tomorrow. We already watched the ending twice. It had all three of us squeeing.

We also got the payoff of Amy being angry about the lost time with her baby. She acted as a mother would - merciless where her child is concerned. So loved the family time together in the back yard. #observationdeck
Was it as weird as H. R. Pufnstuf?

When I went to look it up I was sad to learn that Jack Wild died in 2006. I loved him as a kid in Oliver! and H.R. Pufnstuf - he was the only thing that kept me from being totally weirded out by the show. It was definitely a product of the 60's-70's.
WTF I think I might be travelling in time back to the Gawker redesign.

Comments are appearing and then disappearing, I keep getting prompted to login even though I am already logged in and when I am making a comment the comment box is freezing up on me. #observationdeck
That is great news! I finally tracked down two people at work who watch Doctor Who! It is so nice to have people to talk to about it who don't give me puzzled looks ;)

Hopefully these new friends will become lifelong friends. #observationdeck
Colin Mochrie Apologizes: "Sorry about our waffling on Iraq, I mean when you are going up against a crazed dictator you want to have your friends by your side. I realize it took more than two years before you pitched in against Hitler, but that was different, everyone knew he had weapons."

"On behalf of all Canadians, I'm sorry that we are constantly apologizing for things in a passive aggressive way which is really a thinly veiled criticism."
I'm reading that series right now :)
That is what I thought as well. Couldn't they be dwellings and clusters of villages/rooms?

This one has a place in my heart. I still have my turquoise coloured Easy Bake Oven.

When I was a kid I always thought in an emergency I would grab my Easy Bake Oven, my piggy bank and my Teary Deary Doll (she was my lieutenant) so that way I could buy food and cook it for my family. The Cold War years were harsh on a kid. #observationdeck
Too bad, I will have to purchase Horatio Hornblower so I can show my kids how awesome he can be. #observationdeck
