Plus that's the day his Netflix rates go up.
I agree, this Netflix bashing is getting out of hand. The other day a friend asked me about my thoughts and I said it's ridiculous how everyone is making it like Netflix is evil and should be destroyed. I canceled my cable which was costing over $100 a month and watch streaming Netflix for most of what I watch and still get 2 dvds for $22 a month. No commercials.

Why is everyone freaking out? People complain about the streaming content. Have they watched cable lately? There's nothing on! I had 4 HBO stations and all they had that was good was their original shows which is about 40 or so episodes a year. Their movie selection sucked. Netflix is great and everyone should just chill out.

Louis C.K. said it best, "of course it's a shit job, that's why we gave it to YOU" In reference to 20-year-olds that whine about their jobs.
I got banned from i09 for making the same statement. I was simply making the point that all of their blogs are becoming homogeneous by posting articles that have nothing to do with their specific content. It was the stupid drunk moose that was on this blog, i09 and every other one. The totalitarian editor then instantly banned me. From starred commenter to banned by simply saying they should stick with articles relevant to their specific blog.
Or it's just lazily grabbing an article that is on every other blog to increase hit count and ad revenue instead of writing something new that actually pertains to the subject this blog is supposed to cover. Or maybe that's what you meant by etc. :) #ComplaintDept
Sci-fi? So is i09 just gonna blog about anything now? Every other blog has this stupid moose on it. I come here for specific content.
I just did that. It's called BACKPACKING. People go outside without electronics all the time. Go upstairs and ask your mom about the old days. ;)
I briefly worked with Coro at Massive Black back around 2004 and he told me about this idea of homeless people seeing invisible creatures which explains why they seem to be talking to themselves. I think at the time it was an idea for a video game. It's great to see he brought his idea to fruition. He is an amazing artist.

Soon they'll be blogging about planting flowers because you know, that's science too.
Maybe George is channeling Andy Kaufman and all this is just a big joke.
Yeah, and Total Recall and 2010... I think. My mind isn't what it used to be either.

Pan Am was also the airline (spaceline) of choice in pre-90's science fiction.
I hope those anti-science people aren't taking medication at all, or using microwaves to cook their food, or driving in cars, or flying on airplanes, or oh you get my point.
