When did Harry Potter become science fiction?
Nothing wrong with the Watchmen movie. I think it translated perfectly to the screen and the ending is arguably better than the original.
Agree on BSG, biggest letdown ever. But as for Firefly? Pfft.. Who cares? Serenity was one of the least original pieces of SciFi for ages.

This Slingers thing on the other hand look about 50 times cooler.
@The_Sporean_Bob: They only do that with other lasers though. And they deflect laser bolts. Also at one point Anakin refers to them as "laser swords"
Lightsabers arn't supposed to be a solid blade though, surely? Arn't they just powerful lasers?
I agree about the sex scenes. They mostly seem gratuitous and a cheap attempt at being gritty. #sgu

The final episode infuriated me. You could fly a battlestar through the plotholes. Watching it left me with a feeling like an innocent child, lured to a seemingly fantastic halloween party, only to have the monsters and the candy suddenly ripped away, to reveal a Christian recruitment operation. (or should that be Mormon?)
