So, I finally started True Blood. I have 2 episodes left in season 1, and I think this is the most shamefully addicted to a show I've been since Nip/Tuck started getting weird(er?).

I thought the casting carried that movie a really long way. I enjoyed it too, and thought Hemsworth did really well, especially with all the fish-out-of-water stuff at the beginning - which could have really sunk the movie if not pulled off properly.
I've yet to see the Green Lantern, though. There's a few movies I'd like to see before I get to it, but it seems like it might be effects-heavy enough that seeing it on a big screen would be worth a matinee price. #observationdeck

My favorite road trip (and a personal fave in general) movie is far and away Dumb & Dumber. I love that movie to no end.
In terms of other movies, I saw X-Men First Class last week, and thought it was really good. To me, Fassbender stole the movie. I finally saw Thor before it left the theaters by me, and thought it was entertaining enough. I hope to get out and see Super 8 sometime this week too.

So, my original plan was to post a #drunkio9 ...post about having an awesome time catching up with a friend of mine tonight, and subsequently bullying the jukebox with Hall and Oates, because Hall and Oates rule, but then apparently Hall and Oates wanted to make themselves known without my commentary, so... good on them.

I'd gone to probably at least 12 Get Up Kids shows in my life, starting from when I was 16, and never got to see them play that song live til I was about 26... and it is one of my favorite concert memories ever. Their version of that song just makes me so f*cking happy I can't even begin to explain it. #observationdeck
Anyone going to the RE film series for quality probably deserves what they get. However, for mind-off entertainment, I rather enjoy them. Especially when Sienna Guillory is involved... but that's just me. #observationdeck
