Your posts always indicate of your current status in grad school and it seems like you always have such a large workload. I am curious to know what you're working towards, and I ask nicely because games and academia have recently caught my interests, and want to know what sort of work you do, and what the ultimate end result (the one you want, anyway) will be.

I really like how you choose stories about political issues and gender issues involving video games. It's not that I don't like the other stuff, too, but I really thing it's awesome to have such a broad scope of topics on Kotaku! Keep it up!

Just out of curiosity, what degree were/are you in the process of obtaining? Rather, what field are you studying?
