If you can't handle the crowds at Comic-Con anymore, I strongly recommend WonderCon. There isn't as much going on, but you can actually get to it. It's also a bit more intimate, as far as face time with creators goes (though I've heard Dragon*Con is best for that). #conventions

Also, to geek out briefly, if Guinan is in the Nexus forever, so are Kirk and Picard. They can step out anywhere, any time, can't they? Or would it not work that way? #startrekdvd

I actually just read this last night. The section on Ingrid Pitt alone is worth checking the book out for--even if she made it all up, it's still fascinating. I was also surprised at how many of the Hammer girls eventually became successful artists and writers. #conceptart
