@Luke Bennett: twice now I have had Facebook "accidentially" re-activate an account I tried to delete in 2007. Its resulted in a ton of weird "i thought you didnt have facebook!" messages from people who think I was snubbing them.
@LARPkitten: Thanks to all for the great advice - but I wanted to respond to you specifically just to assure you that the drop off the side is only about 4 inches, and we have been clipping the leash to the bottom of the rail along the porch - giving him a LOT of extra leeway if he decides to hop down. I tested it out by coiling around as many things as I could and making sure there was still enough leash to safely make it to the ground, and it's safe. That's also part of the reason we went with a harness - in the event he does somehow magically tangle the thing around itself a million times, and hops off, he would at least be held by his body and not around the neck. But with the amount we check on him, and the length of the rope, there's no chance it will happen.
My cat loves my porch, and he hangs out on it. Its on the bottom floor of an apartment, and he'll usually jump off, and I'll wander behind him in the complex's yards until I think we should head back, and I say "food?" and he runs back home. I leave the door to the porch open a lot when I clean and stuff, and he wanders out there and I get very nervous I won't see him jump down.
So my girlfriend and I went and got him a harness, and a leash/rope thing, to let him roam out there without having to worry.
We would NEVER leave him alone out there for extended periods of time, but this solution seemed perfect for what we needed - a way to keep him safe, while we needed to keep the door open and would be able to check on him every 5-10 minutes, at absolute minimum. Also, I thought he'd enjoy this, as he races outdoors every chance he gets.
He hates this. So so much. He won't move in the harness, which is VERY loose (he just goes all dead weight), and the one time we got him outside with it, he tried to come inside and the leash ended, and it freaked him out he couldn't go any farther.
After reading all this we WILL be getting him a collar (we should have long ago, I know.) but is this a bad idea overall? Letting him hang outside for short periods of time on a rope?
Trying to get the Kanye message, I typed "Ima" and then just kept hitting enter.
It started telling me to watch "The Cleaner: Season 2" and then I got it stuck in some horrible robot loop.
I am terrified.
"Ima Robot Lyrics by Artist Name or Album Name: The Cleaner Season 2 Episode 1 Part 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful to your business partners and customers together to participate in these features is the ability to make and use them together to make anything of it until I was introduced to them by their fruits ye shall know them by their fruits ye shall know them by their fruits ye shall know them by their fruits..."
@Platypus Man: Same here, ever since I updated to 2.2 on my Evo.
I used to use this all the time to switch to CDMA on my Evo, but since the Froyo update I havent been able to get to it. It clears the number - like Platypus said - but nothing happens.
I downloaded "Network" from the app store to get me straight to that menu, but its odd the code stopped working.
God, could Fox possibly fuck up the X-Men continuity any more? I'm by no means a die hard continuity nerd, but it's just absolutely a convoluted mess right now.
This movie, which is now in BETWEEN X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men #1, will somehow feature a YOUNGER Professor X that Wolverine does. But an OLDER Cyclops. So Cyclops in Wolverine was taken by (SPOILER ALERT) Professor X at the end. And now is younger. Somehow.
No one is aging in preportion to anyone else and it is driving me insane. I was really, really hoping that somehow they'd make Bacon into Mr. Sinister, because that could actually make some logical sense. He ran the orphanage that Scott and his brother (whos also rumored to be in the movie) were in. And is ageless.
Wow. 1 vs 100 was the whole reason my girlfriend went out and got a gold account. We would have a blast hanging out on either Friday or Saturday, having beers and playing the game.
She's going to be really upset, and so am I. It was a really unique game that brought us, and my entire family (my parents even came over to try it one night) together.
This + the destination Arcade news = Microsoft majorly dropping the ball.
