I think he should be given an award, i'm tired of spending (ever more of) my hard earned money on air travel, only to find the stewardesses aren't even remotely hot. They're all guys, or ugly.

Bring back the hot stewardesses in short skirts I say! I'll be boycotting all other (ie: nont Southwest) airlines until they make this happen!
@TonyRockyHorror: I seem to remember running into a crashed plane while playing through Prey (granted it was a while ago now) so looks like you play as a guy from that plane?
@GunFlame: opened the chest...the chest is empty: Yeah, and while we're at it lets base the control scheme on an xbox controller so all the mouth breathing halo fanboys can come and ruin it.

srs, 3rd person "shooters" are garbage
@B_Ren: Look up Doctor Who and the Curse of Fatal Death (or something like that)
@HektikLyfe: Just wait till Tenant leave and the new doctor comes in, you'll want to stop watching. Take my advice. Stop.
Oh, it must be a 3d movie, they had things (debris) flying at the screen.

Can't have a 3d movie without Oooo-ooOOOoo-oooO "things flying at the screen/movie-goer" TM

Also, the main chick (i think?), in the blue...smoking hot!
I hear that Nazi's ate bread and breathed air (comprised of oxygen) - I feel that these two products should be outlawed, or at least come with a disclaimer!
i braved the new gawker layout just to bring you this comment:

car crash ad's (as a general category) always make me laugh, they're just so fucking stupid. I guess if you're the type to be watching tv (downloads ftw) the you're probably dumb enough to be all like "oh noes!"
@CaptainJack: sweet merciful crap!!!! that's awesome
it's even more condescending because a while ago they had this layout on the beta. site and asked people what they thought, the response was pretty much univerally "it blows, stick with what works", seems like they just ignore all their users though and apply it anyway
unfortunately it looks like all the gawker based sites are doing this, io9 and jalopnik were first, but now it's filtered through to (infected) gawker, gizmodo and kotaku :(

in related news: wtb new new outlets, engadget only has tech stuff
@Milton Berle's Cock: That would make a terrible flag, so hard to stich
@Miss_Teacher: dog eat your punctuation?
Why doesn't Vodafone just not do it? Like, there has to be someone who pushes the "send" button, so...uh...just don't?
@GavriloPrincip: dude, your tinfoil hat is slipping
@whoohooby: Err, maybe she's looking at different pictures, because i certainly don't see nipples in the article image up top.

if so, then carry on
@kochevnik2001: But what about the Reverse-Vampires?!
Yeah, Giz & Gawker both seem to have the old version still...

Comments are terrible in the new system, it's really hard to tell which are replies to previous comments and which are new comment threads, and when you expand to show replies it now loads them in via ajax (which if javascript is disabled doesn't work) instead of simply showing the comments from a hidden container.

As a usability / front end professional this new layout makes me sad. It could've used more user testing & feedback.

Like they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
agreed, i was sad when i saw io9 had adopted the same fail layout....they tried it on kotaku for a while under a beta. subdomain and it was pretty negative feedback, I think they're staying with the actual usable & quick layout.

Might have to invest in an rss reader now :(
