I completely disagree. Although bikers should be more cautious since they have less protection, they are generally the ones who are aggressive and in the wrong in my experience. I say this as a New Yorkers who uses a bike much more than a car for transportation.

I completely agree. I only read it two years ago after a lifetime of science fiction love (similar to the author, I just didn't realize how important it was). While I think it's borderline fantasy, the scope and intelligence of the work are just beyond most "classics." I've only read the first three in the series and don't have plans to read further, but I was really blown away.
There are also so many lessons to be taken from it, beyond the point of this article.
I think this is pretty brilliant and a way to combat piracy (which I don't actually think is a huge problem). I would be much more likely to give a filmmaker, band, or game developer money up front if I knew that was the only way I was going to see a project.

I like dubstep, and although I have heard of Skrillex, I have never heard his music. I hate how he somehow became the "face" (hair?) of dubstep. I don't think it has been obscure for the past 4 years, at least. If you're just hearing about it now, you're definitely too old. If you just don't like Skrillex, don't worry, that has nothing to do with being old.
