He should probably spend his time informing himself on issues such as foreign policy (a major weakpoint for him, he doesn't know up from down in this regard) than play games, especially if he's running for President.
Some consoles have multiple code names throughout their development. Some that are unofficial. The N64 had "Ultra 64" only after the hardware was being made for arcade cabinets. Prior to that it was "Project Reality". The Dreamcast was called "BlackBelt" prior to the official codename coming out. I don't know if BB was official or not, but it stuck for a while.
Did you stop buying consoles for your 4:3 TV after the SEGA Saturn?

Also, in the same vein, there are only a couple or so games that run in true 1080p on the PS3 and 360. Some titles like Gran Turismo 5 cheat and use 1080 vertical pixels but less than 1920 across.

I think the bass was over the top, I'm sure my neighbors felt that. :P
The opening statement is incorrect (was it taken from Epic's presentation?).

The human BRAIN can distinguish up to 120fps for most people, according to studies from the US Air Force done in the 60s. It differs from person to person, some can't distinguish 30 from 60 and some can't see the difference between 120 and 150.

The eye doesn't do any distinguishing or interpretation itself, it's the brain. The brain is also responsible for interpreting motion blur, which is a tool for humans to be able to understand direction of movement.

It's all good. :)

But also, there are regulations for war. Most don't adhere to them anymore, not even democratic nations. Israel killed over 1000 women and children in under 2 weeks in late 2009/early 2010, for example. It seems that laws only apply to a few and not to all.

"The short version is that they/we (insert whatever pronoun makes sense) aren't criticizing them because teabagging is a meme, we're criticizing them because teabagging is immature."

But all "they" are doing is reflecting what gamers do.

It's like criticizing any parody because of what it is parodying. Which seems to be hypocritical if you are silent about criticizing what they are parodying.

It doesn't matter if you act like one. Did I mention you in my original post? Nope. Well, you seem to be acting like one now, heheh, but that's besides the point.

The fact is, anyone who is accepting of behavior from one set of people, and not from another, are being hypocritical.

You are attempting to make this argument more about yourself, when it isn't.

"I don't engage in any sort of online teabagging meme and I don't think it's cool for the VGAs to portray it as some hilarious and worthy act. Where's the hypocrisy?"

Here is the problem with your argument. I never claimed that you engage in the meme. I claimed that people who are just fine with the meme carried about by one group of people, and not fine with the meme carried out by another group of people, are being hypocritical.

You are being dishonest here about the argument at hand.

You missed the part where it's exclusive to one console only. Turns a win into a major fail for Capcom. :(

Cole makes sense though, and his inclusion is awesome and understandably exclusive. Same with the cats.

I don't necessarily agree with your 3 points there (eg. MS wants you to spend more by buying new games rather than cheap used ones, and Sony doesn't WANT anyone to lose their money), but I do think that it is a very smart move, and that yes, it is a new way to take your money.
Maybe the ad agency were fans of BlackBalled...
The US just passed a law with allows for infinite detention of any US citizen with no charges.

So there's no reason to call someone a "terrorist" or not, as long as you are an American citizen you can be held without charge. Effectively granting the government the ability to "declare war" on any American.

You must think your Department of Justice is full of brats too, eh?
That explains why Congress can never agree on anything.
They are not crap, but you can get something much better at the same price.

So it seems very dumb for someone to buy them...that's all.

Longer games with more story and production vallue aren't necessarily hardcore games. One could argue that arcade games are more hardcore than the games you are describing.

Secondly, you are wrong about "low value" titles, in fact Apps are "high value" titles because they offer a lot of gameplay and fun for a cheap price. If anything, paying over $50 for a game that gives you only 20 hours of gameplay is a low value title.

I think you've demonstrated why the Vita should fail. Very few want big budget titles when playing on a bus. Something quick is more ideal, hence an iPhone or Android app is more suitable. Most will stick to their Home Theatres to play big budget titles.

As a person who loved DOOM on the PC, used to make maps on a weekly basis to play with friends over the LAN, I'm pretty happy with the XBLA port mainly because it allows for 4 player split screen. Playing through the game on Nightmare with friends on one occasion ranks up there as one of my best gaming experiences.

If you don't have friends willing to play with you, you might as well play it on PC (you can buy them all cheap on Steam)...but it does play very well with the 360 controller and nothing beats playing it with buddies on a couch.

It's a broadcaster, but frankly it's been the primary source of news and journalism in Canada, with the private corporations (SUN Media, CanWest) focusing on editorial content instead.
Nice to hear that they used Howard Drossin's Sonic 3 stuff!
