@DrGonzho: The husb and I didn't even make it halfway through this movie due to shear frustration with the volume and being bored out of our minds.
I've got this one too, along with an inner ear problem that makes me puke after more than 2 drinks of anything. I still drink, but it takes me 2 hours to drink a glass of wine.
@Log1c: I think it works longer than that, but Sarah snapped him out of it. Kind of like the "Desmond is my constant" thing on Lost.
"SEX IN THE CITY meets RED DWARF meets BARBARELLA meets GALAXY QUEST." Blogger Heather of The Galaxy Express says "Once I finished the book, I concluded that this galaxy hopping, hopped-up-on-dilithium-crystals space romp is for fans of the above shows and those who adore comedy/camp/pulp with their science fiction in a fierce, fierce way." @GrayGirl: Wow, I didn't realize that. Sounds amusing.
@GrayGirl: Haha, you must read Questionable Content. I remember Penny discussing the complex nature of time-traveling-Viking-Navy-Seals.
And we can't forget the latest craze: Crouching Heroine, Hidden Midriff. [www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com]
Not going to read through this yet, as I'm doing the same thing at the moment (halfway through season 1), but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's waited to watch this. The only reason I'm doing it now and not after the show is over is because the fiancé really wants me to watch this season with him.
@bililoquy: Plus, Whedon has said that just because we saw it in "Epitaph One" doesn't mean it'll happen. That ep was more of a possible future than one that is set.
@RavenNemain: I believe the shattering clothing is for visual effect (I mean, they are very pretty young men after all). I think in the books they strip before changing (if possible), then tie their shorts around their necks/legs/some piece of anatomy with rope to keep the shorts handy.
@Ghost_in_the_Machine: Good to know. I somehow missed that one. That's what I get for crocheting while I watch TV. . . #sgu
@Meredith Woerner: My first thought wasn't about people having iPods, but wondering how they keep them charged. It's not as if they have Earth power outlets on an Ancient ship. I'm guessing they have some sort of battery packs or converters for the laptops, but are iPods necessary enough to warrant use of them? #sgu
@Ghost_in_the_Machine: Ugh, so annoying with the sexual tension all the time. At least he's a smart priest and not some idiot or villain, as they are so often portrayed. #v
@RonaldusMagnus: The Cavil and Simon stories are pretty good, but the rest is about is coherent as the finale. Too much splicing from TV footage for my taste. And yes, the kiddo is 100% human. #theplan
@Belabras ate my dingo!: I agree. I read the premises for the Cirque du Freak books, and even they sounded too ridiculous for my taste. And I read YA lit regularly. #vampiresassistant
@geesejuggler: I dunno. When Madeline came back in the last ep, she seemed almost as mind-wiped as the dolls. Makes me wonder if they did something to her brain before giving it back to her.
@Gospel X: I thought the same. Loved the Victor/Kiki bit. Enver Gjokaj continues to amaze me with his brilliant acting. And I'm sure Dichen Lochman would be just as impressive if they ever showed her for more than 5 seconds at a time this season.
