Lots of bullshit propaganda going on in this article. I'm for immigration reform, and anchor babies are a shitty way to start a life in America. Thanks for not understanding how much the Federal government has to spend on taking care of them, and how irresponsible it is to perpetuate this thing.

But keep being cool and progressive and blame this mean ol Senator for trying to be fiscally responsible.
Is that you Cheetara?
@kcompaney: According to many, the universe can't be infinite, and according to Max Plank infinite is impossible.

see: [en.wikipedia.org]

I'm not saying the universe is infinite or isn't, but water will always be the best conduit for Cellular Respiration, and that's as basic as it gets for all energy using life forms.
I'll keep it simple,

no water = no life.
Here, I fixed the ending for all of you waterfall chasing lore tweakers.

@beaker: Im all for prosthetics as well, they add a better, tactile and intimate reaction to gore and monsters. CG has its place, but nothing compares to REAL light, and real gravity on the props when they are actually there.

Hats off to your name drops C.C. at the top I'd say, I can only add Hammer & Tongs to it because I love what they did for Hitchikers guide to the Galaxy.
@Cattra: then what? Only the linked accounts (fellow 4channers) will see the content.

get it?
So, um, I guess I'll point this little tidbit out since no one is actually describing how tumblr works.

You can't just post gore and porn on tumblr and expect thousands of people to see it...You need to have something called followers. And it takes a while to get followers (anywhere between months to years to get up to say, 500-1000), and only THEN will your content be seen among your followers. So 4chan up and thought they could make a shit ton of accounts and post gore and porn, but they didn't realize that no one could even see their dumb posts?
@DPeezy: Dune has intimate relationships, mystery, atavistic sorcery and wonder, mixed with steampunk and the baroque...Lynch did well with the material he just didnt have the technology.

All three of those directors would probably hit the wrong notes (esp the russian) and delve into indulgence eventually. I'd think a softer hand would better suit the tone of the novel..Im going with

Cuarón
Nolan
P.T Anderson
Gilman's Thunderer was a great read, and I've been waiting to get to the Gears of the City that was mentioned on this site a while back. People are mentioning Mieville's influence on the issue of inanimate objects (thoughts, impulses even memories) taking on form and breaking free of their immaterial realities. I love this kind of thing in novels, the fact that this book has it makes it a must read for me.
Atmospheric. Moody. Subtle, and Disturbing. Loving it completely.
So far so great. I love the music and the mood it sets. The characters are good, and it's a refreshing departure form the ramped up Zombie mad cap shit that's been permeating the zombie genre as of late.

Going to be watching this for sure.

@RCrumbudgeon: I was totally engrossed in your holier than thou trollbait post until that very last sentence. You just couldn't help but end with a bang huh? I guess it's part of that whole prurient interests thing you were going on about.

Also no one gives a shit about Christine O'Donnell, I'm sure any blog brat with a keyboard can agree this whole thing is dumb, and defending or opposing any post about her is inane.
