That's 'fanmade'....
Right?
RIGHT???!!!!
She's a Cadmus grown clone of Kara, artificially aged, so essentially her evil 'twin'.
Seems odd they wouldn't have a Cap helmet to go along with it.

But I still prefer the classic!

Hey we're totally into the social networking!
Ok, so I'm certainly late on this but as a follow up to the "Death of Superman" viral that io9 and Gods-n-Clods posted I just found out that the same guy behind that did a much more modest summary of "Batman: Knightfall" not too long ago.

The sound sucks and there are absolutely no B/C-list celebrity cameos but I really love this thing cause it address what I think is the biggest misconception about that storyline, which was that it was an attempt to sell a 90s X-TREME!!!! Batman,, when it was the exact opposite.

Don't blame folks for thinking otherwise though cause the TPB collection for the Knightfall saga (at least the last 3 editions I've seen) have been laughably incomplete.

I haven't gotten around to see Haywire yet, but this pic from totally screams Diana; elegant yet totally, unquestionably, powerful.

I hope she puts herself in some kind of acting bootcamp not too long from now.

Well if DC stays true to their old habits regarding Wonder Woman, just wait for the sales of this series to falter just a little bit then they'll panic and mash the 'rejig' button on her.
I think I found a new favorite beer. Sorry Chimay Blue.

So if that Preacher movie/series ever resurfaces from development hell off would it be too lazy to have the creatives and cast of Justified to do it? #observationdeck
replying to promote/approve
It's a rising scale, like from 5 (series premier) to 10 (final season-series finale).

I could get more specific about the way I see it depending on how far along you are. #observationdeck

I actually think this is one of their better selling 52 titles- certainly one of the better reviewed too.
Me? Well, I thought it was hilarious.

It like Funny or Die's "Drunk History" had a baby with Linkara's famous "Atop the 4th Wall" commentaries/eviscerations and hope they do some more.

Natalie Portman as Kitty would work I think.

I wanted to use Angelica Houston for Moria cause she would be more compatible with Murray/hackman, but I guess you could throw in Olivia Williams since she starred in Rushmore and played Moira in X3, but I rather see her as a version of Jean who is very unsatisfied with her marriage to Scott.

And Jason Schwartzman could go back to lusting for her as Wolverine.

My variant of that idea would have Gene Hackman as Magneto, and he runs a rival private school in Massachusetts that follows a rigid British-inspired tradition that starkly contrasts with Xavier's beatnik, borderline negligent, attitude towards formal education.

The movie takes place during an annual 'game week' where the students from both schools face off in superpowered sports and academic challenges. Of course romance and rivalries end up bringing the eccentric students from both sides together in unforeseen ways.

Also it's revealed that the two headmasters became bitter rivals not because of competing philosophies on education and raising children, but because of a woman who came between them: Moria Mctaggert (Angelica Houston), a chain-smoking pediatrician who's now been living in Manhattan with her son, Kevin McTaggart, the product one of her many dalliances with Charles and Eric, although she doesn't know which one exactly- which leaves Kevin to finally visit Winchester that same weekend to find out once and for all.

I hope it's 80s-tastic

I think it would be really awesome if WB took a non-conventional approach to Batman movies and just made a couple of anthology films made up of shorts directed and written by different auteurs with total reign to tell any kind of Batman story they wanted in the way they wanted, ala the "Gotham Knight" DTV anime or, even better, the "Batman: Black and White" series.
I liked the little gas discharge actually. It makes it feel more gadgety to me.

That's a cromulant word.
