I agree. Yes the kid was annoying and unprofessional but so is the article. Lesson learned here, remember if you send something to Casey Chan (or I'm guessing any person in the Gizmodo staff) it will probably be posted as an article for the world to see. Not professional at all. Someone needs to learn some etiquette.

I don't pay for cable anymore. I watch OTA channels and stream the rest. Netflix doesn't have a lot I like but every now and then I find something good. iTunes has some shows I like (like Futurama) and if they don't there's always torrents :). Sorry for "stealing" but I'm not going to pay hundreds to watch 2 or 3 shows.

I have a router with "Internet" as the SSID. I let my neighbors use it for free. I cap the transfer rates and block P2P of course but I like to share. Why? Because when my internet is down, I use theirs lol.

Whenever I visit Gizmodo my CPU activity goes crazy and I can't use the site at all for a few seconds. I still hate the new design :( and I'm on a Macbook Pro running Lion. #whitenoise
