It's dead Jim, it's dead.
reading TFA and some of the comments it might seem strange but...but I liked this show, every week everything went upside down, it was like omg...OMG wtf is GOING ON!!?? maybe my suspension of disbelief is broken or maybe I don't have such high standards regarding shows of this nature, anyway I'll miss them, and holy shit she was an alian after all?!!? why?? how?? holy christ....lol

@Jesus Diaz: imo, it's not a question of where to point the telescope, the direction dosn't matter, what matters is that the telescope has the needed accuracy to see things as far from us as the suppossed age of the universe.
In other words, if you had a telescope with a maximum range of 13.5 billion years and you were able to find something to see at that distance, you will know that this something was around at the same time the big bang happened, and you could try to study it, categorize it, try to see what it was.
@TheLostVikings: well, this means that there might be a neat bussiness opportunity selling brain upgrade implants in the not so far future, when we start to get some serious cyborg-parts market going on that is
@Ceropegius: It has been determined from South Park references that the temperature of Hell could not be above the melting point of cheese, 35º C. Of course this says nothing about enduring the company of Sadam Husein whilst cheating on Satan.
@Andy Vanek: holly christ dude, that shit cannot be unseen, you should really really gtfo
my thoughts about fusion and larrabe is that we are witnessing the revolution of the coprocessor, the little FPU might be sticking around for a while though, but u just cant leave 1 tflop silicon inside your cpu doing nothing while at the same time wanting to do some fast float calculations
@Chip Overclock: russians will do it, all while americans are discussing bills and doing nothing, russians will send a few icbms retrofitted for the event, change the meteorite's course, mine the crap out of it, return with gold-platinum-palladium loot and then say nothing about it all
@bob_d: you are wrong, nuclear plants, hidroelectric plants are widespread thru the world, and so is electricity generation, goverments would start seizing those remaining intact structures, gathering survivors with the know how to maintain and build more, we would be recovering from the disaster sooner or later and everything will be back to what it was before. it will take a total annihilation event to send us back to the caves, if there were any survivors at all
@Corbab: that welding appears to have left a few bubbles inside it, those little circles on the xray pass that remained lit behind the laser focus, you can't see that in the first normal light pass
@Bassem B.: it's the birth of a new meme, it's Nominal
