Well, I've found pieces of other stargates in my travels around the world, and I have access to a naquadah reactor, and a dhd. If I get all of the pieces I need, I can start my own counter SGC for an intergalactic band of gentleman explorers. It'd be like Teddy Roosevelt had access to a stargate. In conclusion, humans rule and Goa'uld drool.
@Annalee Curse you Annalee, you've done it again. I've seen this move all the way through like 6 times. Why do you continue to review movies that I love? Are you some sort of wizard? Should I fear or revere you, or is it some combination of the two? I don't know how to feel just now.
@k4man: It was a movie about what the world in 1994 would have been like had post-punk not happened. As for offensiveness, it's equally offensive to all thinking peoples. However, I stand by my love and support for this movie, much like my love and support for The Room.
I've always loved you Annalee, but for referencing "The Apple", you have won my heart. Oh god, this movie is so amazing. I wish the National Bim Hour was real.
So I was curious about what was going on with Defying Gravity, and I just found out it was canceled. That's really disappointing as they just showed the astronauts Beta.
I don't know if it was the same dig or a different one, but they also found 30,000 year old textiles in Georgia too. Just to put it in perspective, it predates the previous oldest textile by 5000 years.
I live near this museum, It is one of the best kept secrets (no longer) of LA, it's a wonderful place with a tea room in the upstairs. Sometimes I go just to drink a cup of tea and enjoy the atmosphere. If you're in southern california, I'd encourage you to go there.
