I had it my 2nd favorite new show behind Revenge, but after last nights ep, I have moved it to my #1 new series. Hoping for a 2nd season.
Scenes like this is why I love this show, no one does pain, torment, despair & tears like Jensen.
If you want a treat, get the audio books, James Marsters does the reading and with all his voices and accents it is like a mini movie playing in my head. I have listened to them many times and they never grow old.
CJ, this is one of the few articles that I have agreed with from start to finish..Loved the series and hate the thought of a studio screw-up on the remake.

@214w: TVD writers can tell an excellent story without all the nudity and bad words and that takes talent. Besides the vampires are MUCH better looking..Damon sizzles. OK I like Stefan also and even better this season that he is not an Angel clone.lol When True Blood was put up for an Enny for best drama, I said what next an Oscar for Twilight? The best drama on TV(TVD) was not even mentioned, in fact none of the CW shows were and I also love Supernatural.

@Tamírki: You like Ian, pick up the movie Changing Hearts, that is when I fell in love. lol And yes Damon is so hot and sexy. TVD is my favorite show.

The season finale of the first year of The Vampire Diaries was the best I have seen. Seven cliff-hangers in one ep..is John dead, does Jeremy die, did Damon know who he was kissing, does Caroline live, is Jenna still alive, what is Tyler and finally what the heck is Kat up to? This series packs more into one ep than a lot of series do in one season and the actors are all hot. Ian Somerhalder plays Damon and makes me feel every emotion, and have not found a character like this since Spike, played by James Marsters.
@wygit: The band broke up several years ago and James toured on his own.
@winkingskunk: You like his accent, you should pick up the audio books of The Dresden Files, he has a different voice for each character, makes it like a movie playing in my head and once in a while I hear a word or two that reminds me of Spike.
@Lazarus: Yep he is in one of the trailers and hopefully that will not be the last time. Would be great to have 2 of my favorite vampires in the same series. lol
Did not care for the first 2 seasons, but this one is getting good. Might even buy the DVD of season 3 if it stays this good.

I have never been to a convention, but in Nov I am going to Austin to see my favorite Vampire..James Marsters. No I will not be wearing fangs.
@BlueBeard: Try them in audio with James Marsters reading them, he acts them out and it is like a movie playing in your head..AWESOME.
