So /b/ is a filter on the rest of 4chan, to keep out people who don't like "vile anarchic stuff"? It's kind of unfair to say "the rest of 4chan isn't that bad" if the only people on the rest of 4chan are people who approve of /b/.
I always hear this as "it's only the 3rd floor that throws feces at passers-by, the rest of the hotel is excellent!"

Notch took part in Ludum Dare last year too, making the un-minecrafty "Prelude of the Chambered". [www.ludumdare.com] includes a link.
But Twitter didn't crash? I guess their servers are even stronger than the mighty city of Laputa.
Buenos Aires and Shanghai are actually not exactly across the earth from each other (check [www.antipodemap.com] so maybe the direct line missed the ship. How big is it?
For the full awesomeness.
We know from the Sarah Jane Adventures episode "Death of the Doctor" that, in general, the Doctor's (surviving) companions tend to get into helping people. Apparently, Jack's ex-companions are not as altruistic.
from the wikipedia page: "Oliver Reed Smoot, Jr. (born 1940) was Chairman of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) from 2001 to 2002 and President of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) from 2003 to 2004."

Are you allowed to cross a line segment more than once? That's the only way I can see that it's doable.
North is still north - Minecraft characters just draw their maps with east on top, like the Romans did. That's why it's called "orientation."
I think the Lazy Gun wins on power alone. Point it at the Death Star and push the button. Hell, point it at the Andromeda Galaxy and push the button.
I generally agree with you but it's important to admit that "13 planets" (or 14 if you include Charon) is really "13 known planets and probably about a hundred more we just haven't seen or accurately measured yet."
No, for two reasons.
1. Their orbits only cross when projected onto a plane. Pluto's orbit is actually tilted pretty far away from Neptune's so the orbits don't really cross in 3d.
2. Even if they did, they're in an "orbital resonance". Neptune goes around the sun 3 times in exactly as much time as it takes Pluto to go around twice, so they repeat the same relative positions over and over.
@FrankN.Stein: Yes - and it happens every night if you're in the right place.
It's anime-appropriate Beethoven - specifically his Seventh Symphony, 4th movement, which was the tune for the Dragon Half ending credits.
@SupaChupacabra: This one would be the bravest Puppeteer of all - so about as brave as a normal human maybe. See also [tailsteak.com]
