I will be very disappointed if, after The Hunger Games movie comes out, the internet doesn't mash up Arrow to the Knee and a certain character . #observationdeck
So a few months ago I got the entire Huger Games books on kindle for a song and I finally finished them in a few day stretch. Holy crap, I wish I read them sooner. They are really really good and addictive, the perfect alternative to Twilight, then again a lot of things are. I haven't seen Battle Royal, save for a few random chapters from the Manga that I skimmed years ago so I don't know the similarities in detail or the story Theseus. I'm not going in to spoilers here, just my thoughts of the series While it does kinda start off with the evil government and kids fighting to the death, it goes into a really nasty grey area that is war time politics especially in the third book and a did that just happen ending. It does drag at some points during the second book, but explodes in the third. I don't know how much of the violence of the book will be in the movie, but there are some really nasty deaths, which is why its still unrated I think. While it really does get, while at this point, annoyingly compare to Battle Royal its worth the read. #observationdeck
Yah, Thats why he used the brewery instead of building an entire engine room set, it might have pissed people off but it worked. It also proves his skill as a director since , X-Men Origins: Wolverine was directed by an Academy Award winner (Gavin Hood, 2005 Best Foreign Language Film ) and still was crap.
Horrible news everyone Oscar winner Eiko Ishioka, who designed the costumes for films such as Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Cell, and The Fall died. [www.nytimes.com]#observationdeck

We asked for someone with the most awesome name in history, ever, and Benedict Cumberbatch showed up, so we were like, ‘You’re cast!’" J.J. So I saw that Syfy saw is going to air the Canadian show Lost Girl, which I'm watching online. Its kinda like True Blood light, but with a badass protagonist. The hero is an succubus who leans what she is an when prompted to chose a side between light and dark fae, choses to be neutral. She becomes a PI solving cases for both sides. It Its kinda a monster of the week stuff that the network needs more of and I really hope they don't censor it that much. It has the usual cast of charters, funny cute sidekick, male love interest whose a werewolf cop with a secret past, and a human light alined doctor love interest who , also a little person barkeep with a secret past. Its worth the watch and is kinda steamy. #observationdeck
Finally watched The Lost World and I wondered why I have put it off for so damn long. If I ever see him, I'm asking him, what happen to the ships crew. Also the ending is much better than what they had planned. #observationdeck
