A friend just told me that to get sugar white, it is washed in hydrochloric acid. Am glad to have left the tea and coffee game behind...
I have been coffee-free for 8 months now. And hopefully counting. As a 5 mugs a day (the kind of mug size that can double as a soup bowl), it was absolutely hard and my friends and family stayed out of my way the first month. Am not sure it has escaped my system entirely but am glad and happy that I have lost the dependency on it, and the moody swings it would put me through in a day. I have friends with worse intake levels and they're trying to do what I've done thus far. My simple replacement was just ice water. I'm not sure why it works for me but it does. I feel just as energetic with it and it leaves me feeling peaceful in the late evenings now, enough to sleep by 10pm.

/unnecessary confessionals to no one in particular

Reading this news, Matthew McConaughey's agent sighed as the his cell phone rang.

"heeeyyy, boss..... i jus read something interesting on io9.... yeah, i never thought it but i do kinda look like Tarzan hey", drawled the Texan...

So there's a black hole vortex in the gulf of mexico to gulf of thailand? must be some lost and confused BP oil rig worker...
i think its cultural then. i think its a departure and a mind warp because what Larsson discusses and proposes in the idea, is so far from the real and assumed and accepted truth that it makes a mark on your Swedish sensibility. i am not Swedish but having worked with and understood some Finnish culture, i think i can appreciate where you're coming from.
i started strangely with this series in that i watched part of ghe first movie (which i found fantastic), read part 2, and now am reading part 1 then will go directly to reading 3 afterward.
i think whomever did the translation to English did a fantastic job!i certainly caught some of the dry Nordic humour intended!!!
Just watched Sherlock Holmes 2, and had just finished the Millenium series of the Swedish make earlier in the day. As with Sherlock Holmes 2 everytime i will see Ms Rapace on screen in this movie, my brain will just go, OMG Lisbeth Salander.....
1. ah, so Kiwi in every way, makes me proud!

2. Portly Peter Jackson, much easier on the eyes

3. the Occupy folks were doing it wrong, see had they modelled on Hobbiton...

Dumervil had time to swat the ball for a strip, but i guess the surprise of being that unobstructed got to his brain first, yay i get to sack the NFLs best QB!
R. Kelly felt a little miffed when his song wasn't used for the slomo.
male, 36, prefer it as for me, makes for me appreciation of her as a complete woman...
male, 33, prefer it. completes for me a whole woman.
no, i think its fair play. it shows how much value you really think his pos car is. screwing his gf and mom is a whole other level.

i'm more the confrontational type, and take this behaviour as being the same of the person needing corrective behaviour adjustment just like high school bullies or stupid jocks. if the whole building was full and this douche had takenup 2 spaces? fuck it, a scrap is on the fucking cards, maybe even a baseball bat or a fucking knife.

Which Wich wraps their subs in foil. the more annoying thing for me is having to deal with lots of different accents in which i get asked aboyt the make up of my sub, again Which Wich wins here with their system of using a bag your sub will go in which ticks off the goodness u want in there. i'm not raycess but the Aussie accents (Melbourne in particular) are the worst of the lot with Subway.
fark, Germans make good cars AND good movies!!!
the trailer, Wayne, and Batman, all need some serious Tebow sidekick action here.
lovely trailer otherwise, just lovely.
looks are similar to first one, and no kidding about the 'more hair', jeepers.

Tarsem makes things look so much more colorful and gives it that look that i wish this one had. i saw immortals 3 times just to wow at the color saturations here and there everywhere... not as grandiose as The Cell but elements of it that made it so wtf, is missing from this worthington series. perseus looks like he's been dining at KFC during peacetime...

niiiice...

ps god i hate youtube on ipad :-( took forever to load that video

this is the second trailer seen today set to dubstep music. its getting tired pretty quick and not sure it would do the trailers much favour. at least, im the only who cares probably. effing crickets...
may i suggest Peter F Hamilton's Nights Dawn trilogy. you'll get all this kind of action and more and best of all, you can choose all the camera angles yourself and all the glorious details in mechs, boosted marines, and warfare deploying these to your hearts content!
this year i budgeted myself 5 big hollywood movies for silver screen viewing, and all were picked from their trailers for the most part. so far 4 done and one left. the trailers have not disappointed in picking a movie despite the usual misgivings particularly of the scifi genre:

transformers dark if the moon
real steel
battle LA
immortals

heres hoping MIB3 will continue the streak for the 2012 season. have yet to decide the last pick for 2011.
