The princess smiled. The best way to start a conversation with the man behind her? She would ask him to be her purse for the evening.
My 34-year old wife, who is almost done with her LPN schooling, is kicking herself now for not trying earlier in her life to become a doctor because she wants to be the next Dr Tiller.

I keep telling her it's not too late.
Like Dave, I too had a pilonidal cyst. I wa 14 at the time and first noticed something wrong on a biking trip thru the Netherlands. It continued after I got back, and I ended up seeing a doctor. I had the surgery about a week before the school year started - in a new school no less. Unlike Dave, I used maxipads to soak up residual bodily residues (dude, socks, really?), but decided not to wear one to the first day of class, because they were somewhat noticeable. Big mistake, since when I checked the seat of my pants later that day I had a wet, brownish stain on my ass.

I ended up having a second surgery to correct the first's lack of proper healing.

And if I had a camera, I would include a pic of a horribly scarred hairy ass. But I don't. You're welcome.
After packing and unpacking 4 Lacie drives multiple times over 3 hours, I can say that they are sharp-cornered and will hurt you.
@MissConductPDX: Their full-fat lasagna uses ricotta. Their low-fat lasagna uses pureed cottage cheese. They also use pureed cottage cheese in their low-fat cheesecake recipe. These people know what they're doing: Never have I ever had a bad CI experience. It's revolutionized mealtime.
@gemcosta: Oh no, my allergies!!!
A similar series is Thomas Harlan's In the Time of the Sixth Sun, which posits Aztec dominance rather than Incan.
Pity the Lite-On DVD recorder is NTSC, not ATSC - useless in 4 months.
I think you mean nuclear *fusion*...
This was the best Bond film ever, with CR coming in a close second. The plot was easy to follow; the editing was tight; action sequences superb. It held my attention so well I didn't even notice the other moviegoers (which is amazing considering the annoying crap they pull).

The stuff CJA hates is what made this film great: it doesn't dumb Bond down to the knuckle-dragger levels that previous films have done. There's a reason QoS doesn't devolve into the typical Bond film - it's smarter than that. The fimmakers knew that the Q gadgets, massive assaults, cheesy over-the-top supervillians were elements that kept Bond down. That they shed that dead weight speaks volumes.

On a side note, is anybody else familiar with Andy McNab's fictional character Nick Stone? I've always felt that the Craig movies drew from this character for inspiration, and I'm curious if other people had the same thought.

@Counterpoint: Republicans were the majority party in 2005. There was no way the Dems could defeat them except thru filibuster.
Those are not Nazis. The LEGO Group made clear that no Nazis would be included in the IJ sets. Not only do they not want to make toys out of them, but they wouldn't even by able to sell them in some countries with Nazis in the sets.

Those are generic soldiers, not Nazis.
