Come off it, R. Kelley isn't performing!
The cuteness... overwhelming...
Thank you for utterly blowing my mind this evening. #observationdeck
Very true, it's just odder when you're seeing it rendered in realistic CG instead of a comic panel. I'm sure I'll get used to it soon enough.
Other than the fact that they randomly plopped down a weird-ass building in the middle of Midtown, I'm sold. This movie just shot to the top of my psyched list.

...

Seriously though, that just weirds me out for some reason...

Consider yourself internet high-fived.
Re: Captain America- Yeah, I definitely had something in my eye there at the end...
I guess it depends on how much love you have for Marvel shit. I love Marvel comics, and this whole cinematic crossover thing is pretty huge and unprecedented. Color me stoked.
The first season is great, and I've had several people tell me that season 2 is the best season of anything on television. So I'm pretty excited! #observationdeck
1: Deadwood. A bit of a cheat since I've only just finished the first season, but I'm very sad to live in a world where this show didn't get the chance to go on and rightfully earn the title of Greatest Show of All Time.

2: Firefly, duh.

3: I'm halfway caught between having Freaks and Geeks tun for a few more seasons and guaranteeing Community one more season. #observationdeck

Yeah totally! When I was a kid, I was just itching to see long-winded discussions about trade federations and no-confidence votes.
Yanking the hair, the music, hitting the ice wall: all slapstick.
There's some novellas about a hedge night set about a century before the events of the series that Martin wrote if you haven't read them. There's also an RTS video game set during Nymeria's invasion of Dorne (that I've hear is somewhat subpar).

I'm in the same boat though, so I totally feel you.

Personally, I think that this piece sets you over the edge. I would love it if you were brought on board! Keep up the outstanding work!
The problem is that none of the TSA's security measures actually do anything to keep us safe. They're a reactionary organization that has no capability to actively seek out and respond to potential threats. It's just security theater.

However I agree that saying the TSA "violated our civil rights" is utter hogwash. It's a shitty, useless organization, but it's not some sort of gleeful, Orwellian freedom suppressor.

Ha, the same two sites are a problem for me. I think the "Toy Story: Secretly SEXIST!?" article broke Jezebel for me, which is a shame because they cover some interesting sexuality stories. Kotaku's lame, ham-fisted defense of its sucky commenters after the "Why Faggot is Shitty and you Shouldn't Say It" just made me angry enough to stop reading the site out of principle. #observationdeck
Oh shit, that is a rabbit hole that I could get lost in very easily. So many primers! That has loads of great info, thanks! #crosstalk
Thanks! Yeah I missed the window on watching Taxi Driver on Netflix, but I think my university's library has it. I didn't realize he had directed the Aviator, I've heard kind of mixed things about it. He has a rather enormous filmography, doesn't he? #crosstalk
I might just watch that one next, thanks!. I've been to Las Vegas plenty of times (I live in Reno) but I've just started reading about some of the history with the mob there. I can;t wait to go to the museum when it opens. #crosstalk
