This is seriously the best. I've loved dinosaurs forever (who hasn't??), and loved Jurassic Park ever since I decided to read the book when I was 8, just before the movie came out. I've even gone so far into the world of paleontology that I made it my focus as a biology undergraduate...yes I am just that nerdy. My 4th grade teacher was a little suspicious that the book I had chosen for a book report included mandatory "unfamiliar vocab words" such as 'morphine' and 'tourniquet'...but then again, coming from the kid who was sent to the nurse for having epilepsy when I was really just making Velociraptor noises...was she really that surprised?
I think it's hard to fathom there isn't some kind of life on other planets, even if it's nothing more than some extraterrestrial bacteria. What about the icy seas of Europa? You just never know. And hey, Animorphs FTW! If any fans are feeling nostalgic I have to shoutout www.animorphsforum.com, it's a great little community (where we have no qualms about discussing the potential existence of extraterrestrial life...or complaining about having to study it in college astronomy :D)
