I believe Obama has signed this into law, so going forward this would be allowed.. of course after the FAA sets up regulation
True. My comment was to reflect future actions, but you were right to point that out.
Living conditions maybe (much like most of China), but the conditions of the working environment would have to be pretty good. I doubt any iPads are being assembled in shops with dirt floors and poor lighting.

From AP Article- "The FAA is also required under the bill to provide military, commercial and privately-owned drones with expanded access to U.S. airspace currently reserved for manned aircraft by Sept. 30, 2015. That means permitting unmanned drones controlled by remote operators on the ground to fly in the same airspace as airliners, cargo planes, business jets and private aircraft.

Canadian Actresses have come a long way since 1896!
And it's matte... and I love it!
You are right. Look what Acer did with the dual screen laptop that is actually still for sale ( [us.acer.com] ) . No one really cared after it was announced and who knows if many sold. I thought it was such a cool idea, Acer even had some custom input UI features that ran in the lower screen which looked right out of a Sci-Fi flic. The problem was it ran Windows. Or more likely, the problem was it ran an OS that Acer didn't design to work specifically with the hardware. And in my opinion, that's why when Apple does something like this, people take notice. Because they do all parts of the end product, there is confidence it will work as advertised and more importantly be supported (of course there are bugs, but Apple is far from the only OEM that suffers from glitches).

IIRC, there were maybe a handful of programs that would use the Acer UI to the fullest, but if Apple were to convert their notebook line to dual screen, most all the OSX apps would eventually take advantage of the second screen somehow. Or at least not freak out because it is there. I really think this is Apple's almost unfair advantage and in order for other (MS Windows) OEMs to really innovate in the hardware area, they are gonna have to pressure Microsoft to change. How? I have no idea....

(Yes I am a big Apple enthusiast, but I just as often use my Alienware laptop and built my last 2 desktops)

Love the retro tech, but this may be the current leader in effectiveness, brutality and justification-

As per the inventress- "The woman inserts the latex condom like a tampon. Jagged rows of teeth-like hooks line its inside and attach on a man's penis during penetration, Ehlers said."

GOOD is the picture as shown- being able to shower with out the strenuous task of standing.... If you want GREAT, turn said picture upside down and show how this thing allows you to lounge suspended on six gentle streams of warm water- naked!

With this (holds up $5 gift card), I open my own hotel!!

Seeing that black ink spread throughout the vascular system made me think of a plague... like watching a time lapse of a slow death.

That aside, it was a fascinating video!

Yes, my Sony NEX-5 will shoot in mp4 for the lower rez option and my iPad can play/edit the clips easily. Been thinking about an HDPro (either that or a Contour- for the streaming to smartphone feature mainly), so thanks for the heads up that it will play nice with iOS.

Since my reply to @britishchris I've been playing around with the Avid app and I really like what I see so far. Makes iMove look like Windows Movie maker compared to ... well.. Avid, lol. One missing feature, IMO is that you can't import video clips in iTunes using file sharing. You can send em, but they don't show in the app.

Otherwise, I seriously recommend getting this app if you haven't yet.

As much as I agree with ya (love using my iPad and phone for photography and video), iOS still has this massive flaw in that you can't import video from a camera via the CCK, much less play it unconverted, or send it to an editor. In fact, the last time I tried (not since upgrading to iOS5), the iPad wouldn't import video from my iPhone via the kit, but I could do it using a wireless transfer app like PhotoSync.

If Avid allows importing unconverted video from digital camera like the new (and awesome) Video Camera app- [www.i4software.com] , then it really has potential!

Or the Zorg Industries "Ice Cube System"?... my personal favorite.... :)
And 10 more from me... Aproposishness at it's finest!
Ahn, then the whiskey and I got the desired effect! ;)

Cheers!

What do you me "EVEN the ladies side"?!! Women take the most barbaric dumps in public restrooms. Us guys might piss all over the stalls, but it smells like dried beer on a pubs floor after a world cup match compared to the walking dead corpse stench usually wafting out of the "ladies" side....
If it wasn't done using a sketchy online utility/service, I imagine he had the carrier do it or bought an unlocked one from Apple.
Very true! to me, you and most all others here on Giz, upgrade-ability is an exciting and necessary feature of PC's. But to my clients, whom I consider your average users (and even enthusiast level gamers), the idea of cracking the PC case and installing new parts can be terrifying.

Then I tell them I can easily do it, but the parts alone will cost almost as much as a new Xbox and you'll most likely be calling me back here to upgrade drivers, fix whatever cheat hack your nephews installed/malware they downloaded that makes it freeze now, etc..... this many times get me that head half cocked, quizzical, why-the-h...-would -I-want-to-do-that look, lol!

The only reason I even mention my clients is I feel these types of users are the mainstays of console buyers... and I'd guess there are a lot of them.

(btw, I game only on PC, but we halve a couple xbox360's for my son and guests. I hope to never play without a mouse and keyboard!)
