Hello, Lauren. I'm Tee Morris, one of the founders of Podiobooks.com as well as the first novelist to podcast a novel (MOREVI, starting in January 2005) and one of the writers featured in VOICES: New Media Fiction.
I just wanted to thank you for featuring Podiobooks here at io9.com. Since its early days, Chris Miller, Evo Terra and I were hoping this concept of podcast fiction would catch on; and when I see lists and articles like this, I think that maybe what Scott Sigler, Mark Jeffrey, and I did back in 2005 on The Dragon Page wasn't such a bad idea after all. I am proud to say I know all of these talented authors featured here, and have worked alongside them in other podcast fiction projects. If it were not for the podcast medium, these incredible stories would have remained untold, and I am grateful that so many have taken the time to listen.
This movement of podcasting fiction is not going away anytime soon, and support from online resources like io9 only helps new and established authors discover a way to offer their works to new audiences around the world.
