The Powers that Be at CW have outlawed the following things on Smallville from day 1:
No tights.
No flights.
No "Superman" in name.
Yes, the show needs to let Clark become Superman, but I don't see how they can without breaking those rules.
This was a rumor which was debunked months ago. Martha called Tom at the end of Last of the Time Lords, also, when she showed up in Season 4, she mentioned being engaged, to a doctor who was out of the country at the moment, and on Torchwood they mentioned she was on honeymoon. Let this rumor die, people!
You should also watch him on The Guild, season 3. I had a huge crush on him when I was 11 or so..as a girl geek, I could relate and thought he was cute. :)
