Found this today on twitter. If you're in montreal, you can go have your picture taken in front of the house the show is being filmed at.. [g.co]
That's probably how she got the job.. we all have noticed this when she was on Doll House. She's more attractive on being human, imho. Hard to take our eyes off her!
hey how old is captain America supposed to be? wasn't the previous movie in world war 1 time ?
you know technically a spoof is exactly the definition of the word "travesty ("a false, distorted representation" of something) so yes, that ad and all spoofs of star wars are travesties of star wars :) "Darth Vader shift manager" was also a travesty :P
same 9 year study of 2500 newyorker but the full results are behind a pay wall so we must carefully parse other people's summary to get tat the detail.
the study I linked to is diet soda compared to non-diet soda, and accounting for daily use or occasional use. the cardio vascular problem is with daily diet soda.

You didn't check out the study I'm linking to. the study was controlled for " age, sex, race/ethnicity, education, smoking, physical activity, alcohol consumption, BMI, daily calories".. etc.
could be that or the caffeine, I guess. or just the stressed lifestyle
Did you see this study published today?

"those who drank diet soft drinks daily (vs. none) had an increased risk of vascular events,"
"There was no increased risk of vascular events associated with regular soft drinks or light diet soft drink consumption."

re:tourist attraction
they may be city zoning issues with this :P
even handicap access depending on where you live!
it's merely a recap.
maybe not the suicide kid, but the jerk ghost that the suicide kid "killled"
in my fantasy, the space jockey race would have been giants, twice the high of humans at least. xenomorpth are much less threat to them, more like Doberman dogs. now why would they have created them? perhaps they are at war with a human-size race.
you're kind of wasting your time posting instead of just watching an episode of the US show. watch this episode , for example. start in the middle of the series, why not! you're already not watching it anyway. it doesn't need to be a multi days investment of starting from the start and catching up just to know if you would like it. Because watching a show is about you enjoying the show or not. not the theory of watching the show, dogmatic principles, or what would other people think about watching it. asking "should I watch this" is the question I'm objecting to: there is never any necessIty to watch anything, there isn't going to be a test at the end ;)
I think a bit too much focus on the budget here.. "As a labor of love" there was about 40 people working on this, from the end credits, plus this is from a fully equipped pro vfx facility.. typically this sort of short is used for promotion of the company, tests, experimentation and training, it isn't so much the romantic concept of a personal labor of love. the one from stargate studio, really blew, however [io9.com] clearly aaron is a better director
good episode, second in a row.

however David Robert Jones killing the shapeshifter to" make a point" really didn't work for me.

This was totally unnecessary for him, and he's doing that in front of investigators that aren't important and wouldn't relay the event with the emotion he thinks it has. Plus, he's got a smoke bomb in an hospital.. and Broyles on his side.

yeah but these gods survived already for thousands of year, but these two guys can find within minutes the way to end them? How do you even find out the right recipe to kill them given that each of them is unique.. this is really stretching it.. at least when they kill a demon or some other beast, it's one among thousands. people have had practice with and many people have died trying to find what works, and then finally found something they can pass along
