<![CDATA[wookie2 commented on Your Future Will Be Filled with Promiscuous Friends]]> @The Blow Leprechaun: You're more like the old generation of Internet netizens, while myspace/facebook/et al is the "new" generation. I didn't think that there would be a well-defined Generation 1/ Generation 2 gap in online life, but I think you've just defined it.

I too have been on the Internet since '94, and I subscribe to Facebook/MySpace and such. Keeping up with the times, I guess.

<![CDATA[wookie2 commented on Wolfgang Petersen Off Ender's Game]]> @dog13000: Yeah, but Whedon has too much his own style -- he's really more a writer who knows how to put his ideas into visual form. His films have a definitive "voice" and style all their own - the humor, the visceralness. What Ender's Game needs is a director who can successfully translate Card's voice into visuals. A director who matches Card's style.

What should be done is locate movies that "feel" like Ender's Game and then scout out the directors.
