@ringer81: It's not a business park, it's a two storey building behind some shops (there's a Hog's Breath around the corner), in the normal kind of sprawling shopping districts established before malls.

[Google Maps streetview of the car park]
@mamadragon49: This flooding is in the middle of town, they have no way of knowing who these cars belong to, unfortunately.

And, sorta. We had nearly as bad flooding in 1974, and the worst ever recorded flooding before this happened in 1893 (I think). We recently got out of drought after over a decade, flash flooding is standard after a long drought.
@Ye_Olde_Fart: Fringe?

Unless you meant SyFy shows, then, nope!
@SceeLoresby: Ah, so I'm not allowed to love Stargate and Farscape equally? And mourn their cancellation with equal measure?
@Kenro199x: How so? If this is regarding Sherlock, we're just getting another series (season), this year was series one, next year will be series two and hopefully we'll get more after that.
@TwistedChimp: It was the original pilot that was scrapped. The episodes were originally going to be 60 long, after they shot the original pilot the BBC changed the format, now with 90 minute episodes, they expanded the script and got a new director. It wasn't 'scrubbed' as such. You can watch it on the DVD, I haven't yet, but my sister liked it well enough.
@Renne: thanks mate! we probably wouldn't play more than 200 hours during the whole month and i don't think we'll use game voice chat, so those numbers are a relief.

thank you again. online here we come!
i just realised this is pretty much the most perfect place to ask this.

i have short story and then a question: australia's internet 'situation' leaves a lot to be desired at times. it's slower, expensive and you pay for monthly downloads (where if you go over your monthly allotment, the speed would slow down to dial up levels). they have gotten much better in the past year but i've never hooked up my consoles to online gaming because i always figured it would suck the bandwidth and my internet would slow down after one week.

between three gamers in the house, would we be able to play online and not go over our monthly downloads (which is 200GB a month, but we already use an average of 120GB a month)????

thanks so much guys!
I got into Star Wars thanks to my (younger) neighbours. We would watch the trilogy on VHS. Beautiful and unedited *sigh* And then Star Wars was something I was actually aware of, I was about 11. The first Star Wars movie I ever watched was Return of the Jedi, so I never got the OMGWTF moment in Empire Strikes Back. For reasons unknown, ROTJ was the movie most repeated on the TV, so I've seen that one several times more than the other two.

(Like Lethal Weapon 3, why is that the movie they always show out of the series??)

Empire is my favourite, I like the Ewoks and Lucas is a douchnozzle.

Aside from about 20 minutes of one of the Star Trek movies that had Patrick Stewart in it, the only Star Trek thing I've seen is the latest movie. Which I loved, but have no inclination to watch anything that came before it.

Well, I guess Galaxy Quest might count. Best Star Trek movie ever.
I don't care about this movie, but I'm not American, so I doubt they care that I don't care.
@lucyjae: We're in season 6 now, he stopped being show runner last season. I'd read that Jared and Jensen are signed for up to 7 years.
I watched, and generally loved, Buffy back in the day. This news fills me with 90% indifference and 10% disappointment, but not because everyone's precious Joss Whedon isn't involved, but because this movie is focusing on Buffy. They should totally focus on other Slayers, from thousands of years ago, from hundreds of years ago, turn it into a Doctor Who-ish, James Bond-ish franchise and I will watch it.
@orangewaxlion: My dislike of Amanda Seyfried stems from first seeing her on Veronica Mars. I was glad the bitch was dead and couldn't wait for her scenes to end. I enjoyed her character in Mean Girls, but she's not in it all that much. If she were playing Cady or Regina, I would have watched the movie once and never watched it again. Her presence in rom-coms doesn't matter to me as I stay away from rom-coms, I just don't like her, her acting or anything *shrug*
I would watch this movie under the following conditions:

No Amanda Seyfried
No Catherine Hardwicke
No OMG MICHAEL SHANKS IS IN THIS MOVIE

Okay, still not watching it. The power of Gary Oldman and Michael Shanks is not enough to erase the badness.
I am very good at measuring time without any clocks or watches. I might not be able to tell you what time it is, but I am very good telling you how much time has passed since you last asked me what the time was. I think it has to do with me being really, really, really specific and obsessed with time. I will not say 'it's nearly noon' or 'it's noon' I will say 'it's 11:58.' I always have a watch on, there are several clocks in my house. It's just one of those ~things~ for me.
"she's been grounded
like...FOREVER"

Me never, ever seeing this movie. The trailer is awful.
