WEST HOLLYWOOD, UNITED STATES: The Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California, 31 March 2005. One of Los Angeles' foremost architectural landmarks, The Pacific Design Center is the largest center for cutting-edge home furnishings designs on the West coast. The center which opened in September 1975, was designed by Argentinean-born architect Cesar Pelli who also designed the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The PDC covers 1.2 million square-feet (111,483 square meters) over 14 acres (5.6 hectares) at the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard.
