BEIJING - DECEMBER 19: A gardener prunes the branches in front of the construction site of the China Central Television (CCTV) Headquarter building where the two leaning towers are being joined at the Central Business District on December 19, 2007 in Beijing, China. The 230-meter building, designed by dutch architectural firm OMA (Office For Metropolitan Architecture), covering a construction area of 550,000 square metres, is expected to cost over 1.3 billion U.S. dollars. The project has stirred much controversy for its twisted structure and luxury. The CCTV Headquarter is one of the most striking additions to Beijing's skyline, dotted with futuristic monuments to China's rapid growth and new-found power and influence in the world. The CCTV Headquarter is chosen as the 10 best (new and upcoming) architectural marvels of the world by Time magazine recently. (Photo by Feng Li/Getty Images)
