"@Stephen Goldmeier: Well, I wouldn't even consider it a martial arts movie myself. There's only three fight scenes in the entire movie and the corridor scene is by far the longest, even at 3 minutes. It's just a greek tragedy/drama/noir film that happens to feature a couple scenes of fighting."

"@BigBossPETE: Yea, I know! People obviously only gave Arkham Asylum a pass just because it had Batman in it! That's why all the 20 plus Batman game that came before it were also universally well received and so fondly remembered! Just once, I'd like to see a Batman game get a bad review and have the character be associated with a hypothetical 'bad video game curse' for over an entire decade or so! Also I agree that Bob Kane would be totally disgusted by all the new people taking an interest in a character he created."
